It matters how many keys you want. The G8 is incredible because the keys are super natural and for live mode its incredible.

I can understand that. I bought this fantom a coupple of days ago. Undestanding everything this synth can do must be like science it self. It´s a pretty bizzare machine. Now i´m waiting to get this DVD from the U.S. It must be a great complement to the manual....

Just (finally!) got my Fantom g8 a couple of days ago. I had actually bought this DVD a while back, even though I didn't own the keyboard yet.

Well, the Fantom-G is amazing of course, but just as amazing is that a couple of days later I am up and running on this keyboard almost 100%.

I am now easily importing and editing all of the sequences, live sets, samples, pad settings, etc that I need.

I remember it taking weeks for me to get this far in the past!

I have seen 3 of Dave's tutorials - the juno-g, the fantom x, and the fantom g and all were exceptional. I would imagine the others would be just as good.

Watching the video really brought me up to speed on my Juno within a couple of days and I had never owned a professional synth before.

Once I figured out my juno I probably could have figured out the fantom synths just from playing around - but it's SO nice to just throw in a video and watch it and learn.
