I use my sideswiper in the following way: You make dits and dahs on both contacts. For example for the letter E, I would tap the key with my thumb. For T, I would tap the opposite contact with my index finger. For K, it would be Index finger for dah, thumb for dit, and then finish with index finger for dah. If a character starts with a dit in it I always try to start with my thumb, for a dah my index finger. Hope this helps. The vibration in the lever is just from the tension of the magnets.
