that's some bad editing though. when you were talking about standing out or whatever there wasn't one cosplayer in sight! they were all dressed normal in that shot. you look the same as everybody else there! i even see another emo at 00:33... how do you not fit in?

@myinnerspace There's more than just Japanese comic book characters at cons, there's cartoon and movie characters as well as famous American animated characters like Batman, Superman, the Green Lantern, Spawn... hell, I even saw a dude dressed up like Gumbo one year haha
The reality of the situation is, their are many sub-sects of cosplayer, Cat-Girls, Generics, Background, Sci-Fi, etc. But the community is strong, check out cosplay dot com, also if we are un-conventional why do we have conventions? But either way great job 5/5
Yes, however the new generation is obsorbing anime and manga in more thus cosplay is usually seen as that by the fans. Of course, I know people that do both however it is all just cosplay without any sub-sects.
Your made quitw a good documentary. I myself am a cosplayer that doesn't let the culture dominate my life. From both my cosplay and "normsl" points of veiw, you did a good job of capturing us and exposing cosplay to a point where the masses could understand it. Hope you make another, longer one.
