  • whoa..

  • One of my favourite Analords, if not my favourite.

  • who s responsible for the artwork ?

    It s so fine.

  • @sketchedflamenco Might be wrong, but I think it is Aphex himself.

  • @sketchedflamenco

    Or maybe a camera lol

  • amaizingg !!!!!!!! :DDD

  • olol all yall mfks like "this music is dope but I'd really rather be having an internet argument"

  • That Virus fucks shit up

  • Why do you want me to explain why I like this song? That is almost impossible. As for the Analords, I've listened to every EP, and most of them only contain one good song, whilst every other song just doesn't reach the same level of emotion and empathy. E.g. Analord 9, 6 (worst one), 3, 1 and 7.

But if you really like every song on every Analord, that's good for you. Tastes differ.

  • @thedude200710 I found the Analord series to be much like you describe. A few good songs on each EP but some just aren't as good. I have however changed my opinion about the series. I find all the songs to be at least interesting enough to be enjoyed, and have since discovered I underappreciated a lot of good tracks in the series that I didn't think were that great the first few listens.

The analord series as a whole definitely grows on you the more you listen to it.

  • like how he named some of his songs after viruses and backdoor trojans, they always had some sort of mysterious allure to them. (similar to the appeal fairy tale antagonists and monsters give off) aphex twin basically glorified that appeal and created something that musically described (like a "theme song" of some sort) how they crawled ever so quietly around your temp. folder only to reappear out of the blue in another folder.

Richard James is a fucking genius

  • RDJ musical werks give me the chills...deadcode, wow! what a beautiful & creative track!

  • Too bad the sound is so horribly compressed in this...sounds so muddy.

  • ou yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:34-3:43 = 69 seconds of the thunderstrucking greatness of RDJ!

  • is the speed quicker

    ?

  • This is just my favorite song ever

Before I would have say Beethoven was my favourite... then Satie, then Chopin... now it's Richard, and it's lasting for years so far

  • @fl260

hehe i had an opposite development : first i loved Aphex ,than yan tiersen than ... satie, beethoven ,chopin :) but i always loved schubert and bach most. ach fuck on it.

All are SUPER :) richard is one of the musical heros of our time, i think!

  • this is the only kind of computer virus i like

  • aullauuooghhh

  • Holy FUCK! I'd fucking kill to have this talent.

  • Chosen Lords doesn't do the whole set justice.

  • @Biopharmer Ciclonen and Fenix funk from the Chosen Lords ep are probably my fav Richard D, tracks up there with Vordhosbn

  • yess, always my favorite analord track

the tones of analord activate my dna like nothing else can

    complete understanding

  • From 2:35 to 3:44 is one of the innumerable times why I love RDJ.

    Keep tinkering#

  • @2:36 - Goosebumps.

  • Beautiful track.

  • it is what it is. brilliant and epic and so beautiful....

there are no words to describe this!

one of the best tracks off all times, he wins....

  • this track references windows in the title and i can almost hear brian eno's "microsoft sound" at 1:45.

  • most decent analord!

  • possibly the finest track of the decade?

  • 2:35 its just epic like an analog feeling almost nostalgic.......hats off

  • Analognostalgia then eh? :)

  • lol i didnt realize that your nick was analog nostalgia.......mental bro.xD

  • So fine, just soooooooo fine.

  • gorgeous little number, cheers.

  • epic

  • the whole Analord series is just..... wow.

  • The entire Analord series is just... Fucking Amazing, Beautiful, Analog Quality.

  • @digdugprophetie

I disagree. The Analord series contain way too much rubbish. Luckily, there are EP's like this (Analord 8) who are simply amazing, but I can't stop thinking James' should've selected all the good Analord-tracks and put them all together on one album.

    Great song btw.

  • @thedude200710 thank god there are people like you to give us your fine opinions

  • @daftblac

I love the smell of sarcasm in the morning.

  • @thedude200710 I don't agree with you with the word 'rubbish'.

Give an example what part you think is rubbish and explain why this one is not ?

  • @thedude200710

He did compile an album of all the best Analord tracks. It's called Chosen Lords.

  • @e1anator

Yeah, I found that out a couple of days after my first post. :P Chosen Lords indeed contains the best songs of the series.

  • aaah, so nice!

  • o the future
