MIA drafted Pat White for one reason their wildcat form so encase you didn't know then THAT... marks him as a certain style of QB that fits into a certain style of offense & Pat White wasn't the right guy for the Tide if he had been they would have picked him up, you got a lot to learn about football if you think that way.

If the RB takes the long snap while the QB lines up at WR, its called the wildcat formation. when the QB takes a long snap its called the shotgun formation. in the halfback option the RB can pass out of it but he's still considered an RB... thats why it's called the halfback option. if you need anymore football tips feel free to ask, i'm very approachable.
umm so apparently you didn't see when Penny took the snap out the wildcat formation last year?? the wildcat formation is an unbalance line. We used LT Long, right tackle Vernon Carey and pulling guard Justin Smiley on the strong side. Anyone could take the snap. But its better to have someone who can both run and pass and that's why miami took white. Also having a left handed passer here is going to cause chaos. Yes i know brown is a lefty but i can throw better than him.
Also a good runner (most likely rb/wr) will line up on the weak side slot position and cross over during the snap to the strong side. And that's the wildcat. This formation can be altered slightly giving a D countless different looks.

despite all of the talk, he's been one of the best QBs at this year's combine. I dont see Sanchez or Stafford being elite QBs in the NFL, so Pat has a chance to be the best of this class if he stays at the position AND goes to the right team.

despite all of the talk, he's been one of the best QBs at this year's combine. I dont see Sanchez or Stafford being elite QBs in the NFL, so Pat has a chance to be the best of this class if he stays at the position AND goes to the right team.
Im from GA and like the falcons, but he can do well in Carolina or Tampa, and they're both due for a QB competitions for the next couple of years. not to mention how it'll give the falcons some mobile qb karma.lol

I still say it was that hit in that game that signalled the true beginning of the Pat White Era at WVU. I'm so glad I got to see so many of his games live and in person. You could never get a true appreciation of what he did until you saw it with your own eyes. PW as QB, OS and SS there on either side, and Reynaud to throw to. There is a hard offense to stop.
