Something i like though i dont care about Boba's voice, is that scene where he tells the troopers in he cargo hold. I love the music, and how it paces twice before continuing to the theme. In the Special edition the pace is played once so that the score will transition better because the entire theme is playing. Listen to both scenes, the music plays all the way. It takes the spooky out when its all the way. Also they added music when Leia is shooting which sucks, i like it mute.

@pvlmichalek I think one reason is that even that special effect is used very sparringly. So, the audience was primed and waiting for thsoe combat scenes. In the prequels, Lucas used the special effects every ten seconds. Two the combat scenes dont have all this flipping around and honk cong martial arts stuff going on. Watching classic swahbuckler sword fighting intermixed with classic duel sword fighting styles just looks better on screen.

Meh, I like Boba Fett a lot better. Mainly because of his ship. I'd take the Slave I over the TIE Advanced any day. Plus, Vader murdered all those kids in "ROTS" (Sorry to bring the 'crappy' prequels into this, but I actually like them. I'm highly expecting someone to start flaming my ass off for saying that) and I hated him forever for that.

Is it me, or is this one of the crappiest endings in Star Wars history? Come on! How can it be the best when Han gets turned into a darn coffee table and we lose him to stupid Boba Fett? That's the stupidest ending ever, especially when you consider how pathetically Boba died later and they could've just killed him in this one. In a good story, everything ends happily. No one wants to watch a movie where the characters lose. This is the dumbest ending of Star Wars. Thanks a lot George Lucas.

I dragged everyone I could to the movie to see this scene. I had the poster in my room. Still am a big Harrison Ford and Star Wars fan. Han Solo is so cooky!

Yeah, one of the greatest ever lines from any of the SW movies, and made up on the fly by Harrison Ford (changed from the boring, "I love you too" in the script). Excellent stuff. Ford was one of the reasons why the original trilogy was in a totally different league from the prequels. He gave the story humanity.

What makes this scene even sadder is the fact that Han kept saying "Everything's gonna be fine" when Leia was uneasy and earlier in the movie she said she'd love to see the day when he was wrong (or something to that effect.)

I've always loved the music in the carbon freeze scene. If you removed the dialogue completely and just played the music in the background, the scene would still be just as powerful.  This score is some of John Williams' best work.

I have the soundtrack and its on Disc 2, track 9. I think its called Carbon Freeze/Boba Fett, or something like that. No special name. it starts at 4:15 and ends at 4:52. Yeah, I've listened to it that much!
