It is 1000% real a true beauty. I have my 5512 On my link. Still working on more. Vids. I am a big fan of these older subs. I love both 12 & 13 but I am very happy that the one I own is the more scarce 5512 but both a treasures.
The bracelet is a 9315 folded link and is likely original to the watch. It looks as though it is missing the safety clasp. Those bracelets are worth a small fortune, although that one has stretched significantly.
2.8mil will likely have a 1970 caseback stamp.
Non clicking bi-directional bezel was standard on those.
Dial may have been refinished, hard to tell. It is the correct layout for the age, with "SUBMARINER" written below depth rating. Cheers!
