well i live south of the landing paths so i like sitting on the left of the plane so i can see my house but for you i would say the right because on landing you get a view of downtown LA, the San Bernardino and Santa Monica Mountains (including the Hollywood sign) and West LA

Well, the right side of the plane is best for most things actually. I live in Downey California, and I love landing in LA from another city like Denver. You get to see downtown LA, the hollywood sign, great views of the ocean plus the san andreas fault line. I actualy prefer night over day. And better then that, out the right side of the plain you usually fly past Las Vegas.

Contrast Miami with LA. Green landscape, islands, shiny towers, and most importantly, blue water and beaches. LA looked colorless and the coastline looked dreary. I can't believe Miami now has a fuller skyline too!

To those who don't truly know L.A. possibly. For those of us from there we know the beauty of Palos Verdes Hill, to the natural beauty of Griffith Park. We know the cool spots in Echo Park as well as the hidden little towns like Los Feliz. Los Angeles is so many places..and has more hidden breathtaking beauty than most major cities could ever wish for.

I love NYC and made a good life here, but I miss my hometown, L.A.

@stuckin80ss I far from hate NYC, though I admit, I'm growing weary of the "hardcore" lifestyle. People always seem to be "on" no real downtime. I really miss my weekends in L.A. Angelenos WAAAY more so than NY'ers know how to completely decompress on the weekends, and I REALLY miss that!
