I've had grouped swollen lymph nodes on both sides of my groin (inguinal nodes) in varying sizes, slowly growing over the past three weeks. I went to the doctor when I first felt them, and he said they were probably from deep identical bruises on my legs, and recorded them at .75 cm. There were two before, now I believe there are. I don't have any of the other symptoms of B-Cell lymphoma, but I think I may have another on my head. Blood test did nothing. What should I do?
ok im 16 and ive had this lump on my jaw and i went to a doctor and he said it wasn't cancer but in actual fact it was a mobile cyst which is harmless and i have the option to remove it.......im not sure what to do should i get it taken out or leave it?
Hi, my name is Ariel & i was wondering if when the lymph nodes swell & become tender if thats still a sign of lymphoma, i have had tenderness in my left underarm for about 2 1/2 weeks, one night i thought to check to see if it there was a lump & there was the next morning it was very swollen & even more tender, i went to the ER because no clinics would take me in, the doc. gave me a ultrasound & told me it might be lymphoma & 2 weeks to go get a biopsy done, whats the likely hood its lymphoma
@jehabib Yup...I had one swollen lymph node...then after a few months it wouldn't go away. Now they spread to my neck and armpit. I have to get a biopsy done this week cause it might be lymphoma. I haven't even had any fever or severe night sweats. Just intense itching and swollen lymph nodes.
@Riana718 Is it small? Is it really hard or rubbery?
I have two rubbery lymph nodes and the only doctor I went to said it's from infection, but it's been there a really long time. If they are still there in april I'm going somewhere else to get it checked.
Hopefully all goes well for you, and it is not cancer.
@jehabib The one on my groin (which is the first one that I noticed) is kind of big hard and rubbery. It doesn't hurt though. I have a lot of them down there. I also have one on my neck that sticks out. It's hard but it doesn't hurt. I also have one on my shoulder that sticks out. And a few little ones on my neck. The doc said that he found some on my armpit as well.
@jehabib I don't think it's an infection cause I got a blood test done and everything came out okay except for my bones (I lack vitamin d). And like I said, I haven't even had fever or sore throat. Just extreme itchy skin and heartburn. My biopsy is due for this week.
@jehabib Yeah, the lymph nodes are all over. They itch too. The itchier my neck gets, the more swollen lymph nodes I get. I'm not worried though cause I know that I can die anytime, whether it be from cancer or get hit by a car. I already know that I'm going to die one day. My aunt had hodgkin's lymphoma when she was like 18 and she survived (she's around 50 something now and has 2 kids). But like I said, I'm aware that I can die at any time (Deuteronomy 32:39; 1 Samuel 2:6). It's all up to God.
Had lumps on my neck (both left and right side) since I was 13yrs old. Now i'm 24yrs old. Gone thru 2 blood test, but show no presence of cancer. Is it a cyst?
my favorite dog was put to sleep yesterday that had lymphoma. we gave him predinisone but the cancer was so aggresive that the prednisone hardly did anything
I'm sorry to hear that... I lose a beloved dog to cancer as well.
This country needs to spend more money on cancer research. Its ridicules how many billions of dollars are wasted on political campaigns and endless wars.
Thankyou so much for doing this video. I have had a lump on the left side of my neck just under my jaw....found it about 10 months ago. Just the last few weeks, I have now discovered more lumps on the left side of my neck which is really starting to scare me. I have also had nausea and vomiting the last couple months and lots of fatigue. Not sure whats going on. The lumps don't hurt or anything but you can see them sticking out of my neck now.
my dad has non hodgkins and this is the second time he had it, we caught it in stage 4 last time and it was so scary. The probability of surviving her in the US is slim
In This Time's a Charm; Lessons of a Four-Time Cancer Survivor, Donald A. Wilhelm tells his real-life story from a patient's perspective about surviving cancer four times. His intent is to give his readers a true depiction of what cancer, and its treatment, is really like. "I've had pretty much had every treatment/drug out there," says Wilhelm. He intends his eBook to parallel an old Chinese proverb that says: "To know the road ahead, ask those coming back."
My mums died from malignant lymphoma last december...She died within a week of her diagnosis. She never even felt very sick, she just started feeling very, very weak. Not much is known about this disease and that's sad...
I thank you for this information but, can someone help me to gather information on HIV/AIDS and Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma and/or how they sometimes are linked together? There is little known information about or talked about this and why?
n something was happening so it was the damn surgery prob coz he was getting a treatment that can ddestroy his health so we give him to eat bird nests and stuffs to get him healthy and also surgery makes people more weaker than ever he was like having a fever weird one he saw everything was red after 2days he started to felt hard breathing and finally passed away
my cousin brother died because of this cancer, first of all those lumps cannot be surgery and take off coz my cousin brother did that then he was to weak to it
My bf had Lymphoma and had 2 surgerys to cut out and remove the lumps, he was awake while the surgery took place. He had other smptoms besides the lumps, which grewv to a huge golf ball size. But since his surgery a year ago he has not noticed them grow back, and feels healthy for the first time in years.
My friend is in the hospital waiting for lymphoma test results.....please pray for her. She is only 13.

So someone can be perfectly fine and only have a lump and it's a possibility it's cancer? Wow....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression blood tests can nit be used to diagnose lymphoma
ozmonto 1 year ago
@ozmonto I don't think so. I think only a biopsy can detect it.
