In th Quran, Allah tells us that I will test man with wealth (giving it and taking it away), life (giving it) and death (taking it away). Allah tests man with his mercy.

If good should befall us, we are thankful and if bad should befall us, we are still thankful.

If Allah did not want us to know about Hell (An Evil place it is) then He would not have told us. And if He did not want us to know about Heaven then he would not have told us.

The fact that man can use and abuse certain elements does not mean he has control to will what he wants. If God allows him to do what he wants to do then this is reffered to as God's will. Yes man can do evil things some times but that doesn't mean that God is evil, God tests man!

Humans invented computers. We invented softwares fr computers so that they can run on their own, but still it needs human interventions to balance things in case any viruses break out. Virus break out bcos the softwares just clash and they do not hav a mind of their own. Simiarly in nature, GOD has commanded all elements n creations to obey by HIS will. If theres nothing which controls these elements, evrything will fall apart. In most cases, disasters strike to balance out the sins by mankind.

I believe that God is NOT a mass murderer but a watchful caretaker, who guides each and every one of us. But it all comes down to that final day when we must answer for our actions and our fate will be decided accordingly. Again not through some "plan" of mass murder.
