Lol yes, this is Sword Kirby (or Galaxia Kirby? since he has Meta Knight's sword...) In the games also Kirby gets a hat like that upon swallowing a sword enemy. A not-so-subtle way Nintendo points Kirby players to the rest of their work =P

No, Waddle Doos give Kirby the beam ability when absorbed. What I was saying is that Kirby doesn't become what he absorbs, he gets its power. Oh, and I do in fact know the difference. Waddle Dees are the cute little red things with beige faces and two eyes. Waddle Doos have the resemblance of Waddle Dees, but are characterized by a face of which is a giant pupil encircled in a larger white eye.
