  • Great, you are very talented.

  • Excellent! You did a very good job of making the guardian look both ancient and fierce. Not to mention, O Fortuna went perfectly with it.

  • just beautiful.

  • 3 words to define you too...

    talentless jelous nerd!

go on and post a vdo showing your "amaaaaaazing" pencil drawing technique, fucker!

  • he could do this in oil, too. he just had to learn the techinque....required knowlede is the same!

  • @albanonabla -__-

  • you're rude.

  • Excuse me? I'd like to see you do anything like this. This is amazing talent.

  • pacesetter^^Go Fuck yourself. Try doing something similar and stop complaining PLEAAAASE! THIS is 90times sped up!

  • what do u mean by "digital crap"..

  • drawing with a tablet is harder then using a pencil and paper, so it takes enormous talent + less recycling to be done!

  • this person praciticed using paper. unlike you, this person has talent.

  • hey, youre watching youtube. doesnt anyone ever watch people do crap themselves now a days?

get over it dude. this is art too, its a visual way to express feelings and tell a story.

  • erm you do know its even harder with a drawing tablet then it is on paper right

and i speak out of experience

  • Awesome. I like how you can put so much detail into such little space as well as the intricate little patterns on the guardian thingie (or whatever it was)

The only thing I'm kind of confused about is what is the guy walking on? The space beneath him looks like the walls of a colloseum.

  • Awesome in several ways. I am so loving how you just started drawing whatever you wanted and trusted your intuition to guide this image out. It's cool that your were able to capture that with such clarity and since the it started abstract and then became realistic, all the more fun and inexpected. super cool!

  • hey man how do you do that "simple" shading around :33 seconds? like the highlight and shadows but it blends and mixes, i dont get it. Ive tryed...i need to go find some CS tutorials...

  • I'm not sure what you're talking about. For a while in the drawing I had a gradient ramp applied as a layer effect.

  • What he is asking is at :36ish you start using a new brush to do the highlights and shadows. He is wondering what brush/effect use have to use to create it.

  • In that case, it's just an ordinary brush, but I start painting with white.

  • surely your missing the point, whatever brush you use just make sure it works for you.

  • fabulous!

  • You have very good work. I'm about to buy my first tablet, what do you suggest. The one you have is really expensive... I'm still a beginner, computer-wise. Any suggestions? I was looking at the intous 4X6.

  • having the bigger one if you can afford it will greatly help with expressive strokes! and its healthier!

  • OMG man

    i love your work.

makes me want to quit why try when there are people like you. lmao. just kidding.

  • i watch it...see how it's done....and still don't understand how you do it. well done, you have me completely baffled and amazed at the same time :)

  • wut photoshop u using?

  • Still on CS1 although I think I'll get 3 soon.

  • I was also thinking Final Fantasy whan I saw it.

  • wow ur amazing-very nice and u have an eye for detail i think wow nice : )

  • very nice

  • Wow, Thanks a ton. I really appreciate that. It's really hard to gage my own progress, and it's a huge relief to hear that. Thanks -Rory-

  • That could easily be a Guardian Force/Aeon/Esper summoning from Final Fantasy, great work.

What tools do you use, tablet wise and software wise?

  • Photoshop, a wacom cintiq, and aviscreen classic for the video capture.

  • This makes an excellent background. Love your work, as always.

  • Cool as usual. So if im correct you only have a few more left. I hate to see you go.

  • Yep, getting towards the end of the 2D portion of this journey.

  • Good as always! Keep it up!

  • Absolutely fantastic. Love it, as with all of your work.

  • Impressive work as always. But where's the link for the HQ version of this? I want a new background for my PC. :)

  • I added the HQ version to the description :)

  • all the links on all your videos are broken.

i get this error: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class DateTime on line 7

  • Good work again Rory, keep it up may!
