  • hops

  • dis dude got some4 hops....lol....

  • Pause at 0:23

  • Wow! Am I that good?? I decided to take an estimate of ceiling height by counting tiles. I got 18 large block tiles and estimating them to be 8", and 2 small block at 3" each. And BAM!, 150" = 12'6". Just had to post that!

  • i can jump higher i just need to stop eating chips so my fingers don't slip off the keyboard

  • not talking bout the one right before the vid either

  • where'd all these fuckin automaticly played ads come from? might be just me.

  • @Midnite4Life777 - - - I ABSOLUTELY AGREE, BREH. ''-)

  • blake griffin would need to stand on a car

  • Press 7 then 5 for instant Slow Mo.

  • thumbs up if you paused it at the peak of his jump just to see how high he got!!!

  • wat the double fuck how is that possible he aint 6ft and he can jump higher than his hieght that is a lie either he is taller or the celling is shorter

  • @devilfromlivinghell His head height is 5' 9'', his standing reach, the highest he can touch with his hand, is imaginably close to 8 feet.

  • Assuming TDUB has a standing reach of 7 and a half feet, he'd need a 60 inch vertical for a 12.5 foot ceiling. The ceiling is probably closer to 12 feet, but that means TDUB still jumped over 50 inches.

  • the 11dislikes are isaac newton and his grandson

  • Yo its the highest legit running vertical i've seen in my whole life.

  • Press 7 repeatedly and die of shock

  • He'll be able to do 5 frontflips and still be in the air

  • this is weak compared to isaac white's jump for the shirt hangin on 12'8

  • Pause at 0:23...DAYUM

  • @crashpedo just because he is the JusFly.

  • @crashpedo Damn right

  • JusFly's like pfffttt nigga i could that shit in ma sleep

  • @ImmaAidan yea, but Jusfly is also 6'4, not 5'9

  • THAT AIN'T NO 12 FOOT CEILING I CAN TELL YOU THAT RIGHT NOW MMAYBE 11 AT MOST

  • @binka21 what are you saying? the rim is at 10 ft = 3,05 cm. 11 feet are 3,35 cm. and there are videos where tdub could bump his head with the rim so imagine that but with an arm raised, that is aprox 50 cm more. for sure he can raise 12 ft.

  • Im 6'1 Age 14, Probably 1 More Inch, I Could Dunk A Regular 10 Ft.

  • anyone with such leaping ability doesn't have to jump off a building......if he wants to suicide.

  • I'm 17 years old and 5'11" should i be able to touch the net when i jump off a chair?

  • @MrTaydoHead i´m 14 years old and 5'4 and i can touch the net without a chair

  • 0:23 Call of Duty Black Hopz!

  • @ShortestDunker

I just did the math and that's what I came up with. Most 5'9" guys have 7'7"-7'8" vertical leap. To touch 12'6" would require a 58 or 59" vertical. That's of course ridiculous so in all likelihood Team Flight Brothers is fibbing to us about the height of the ceiling. TDub still has incredible hops so there's no need to lie like that. That's like how the WWF used to claim Andre the Giant was 7'4" 500 when he was 6'10" 500...just unnecessary. It's impressive already.

  • @EGarrett01 It looks like he is about 8" away from the ceiling, which, based on your math is about 50+ leap. Also if you look at how high his feet are off the ground compare to his waist. On average (I am 5'9") our waist is at about 40"-42" high. His feet are considerable above that. He can get his heat to the rim on the regular and you often jump a lil higher when reaching for something higher.

  • @cbdud

Even Spud Webb had a 46" vert when he was measured. Vince Carter had 43", and Nate Robinson had 43.5". The highest vert in the last 10 years at the Predraft Camp in the NBA was 45.5".

T-Dub definitely has hops, but you're telling me he jumps a FOOT HIGHER than basically anybody else, including all the best athletes that have ever stepped foot in the NBA? Not 2 or 3 inches higher...but a FULL 12 inches?

  • @EGarrett01 No, what I am saying is that he easily jumps the heights you just mentioned, with a max running vert of at least 50". I am 5'9" and can still get my head to 9" (at 34 yrs) which is 40" for me. So getting my head to 10" would be 50". T-dub can do that on the regular. The highest leapers are not in the NBA, I love the L, but it is more amazing to have a 40+ vert while maintaining an 82 game seasons. So others can easily maintain a higher vert. Would you agree he has a 50" max?

  • @cbdud

No, I don't agree that he has a 50" max without evidence, and I wouldn't agree that you had a friend who was 9-feet-tall without a picture with some kind of measuring tape.

Again, in the league the highest I could find, of ANYONE, was Spud's 46". A lot of street dudes claim higher, but the real difference is that the NBA guys are actually measured, while the street guys just make stuff up.

I'll give TDub 44"-45" though, which is sick insane hops. But not 50" and sure as hell not 59".

  • @EGarrett01 I see what you are saying, but what I am going by is a 5'9" with his head definitely at a 10' rim. There's even footage of him doing so at a few NBA arenas and facilities which would have true 10' rims. 120" (10' rim) minus 69" (5'9" guy) is 51 inches. There are a few 5'9" that I have seen (including tdub) get their head to a 10' rim. That are plenty of vids on YT. Yeah 59" is ABSURD, but I have witnessed a definite 50". Again, his "average" jump would be in the mid to high 40's.

  • @EGarrett01 To add to your conversation with cbdud -- Marbury, Francis, Nate, and DRose all have at some point had verts of ~44". I would bet that TDub is somewhere between 47-50 on a fairly consistent basis, altho as you have clearly pointed out, this is unproven. 59 is nonsense IMO. Moreover, cbdud's point regarding poor NBA verticals this has been shown to be valid time and time again when comparing NFL combine with NBA pre-draft camp data. The disparity in jumping ability is remarkable

  • @Mokrybeans

Derrick Rose was measured at the Predraft Combine in 2008. 6'2.5" in shoes, 8'2.5" vertical reach, 40" max vertical. Let's stop exaggerating...40" is a sick vert, when we keep randomly adding inches with no evidence we end up with people claiming 59".

I don't follow the NFL but it wouldn't make much sense for them to jump higher than NBA players. I just checked up on Randy Moss and I found someone claiming 51" when the NFL combine said 39". Let's stop this junk.

  • @EGarrett01 Relax man, I was supporting your claim. Most official vertical jump tests are conducted using a standing vertical jump with armswing on a vertec. This is what they do at the combine, so it's probably the same for the predraft camp. Most people can jump several inches higher on a run, so I'm sure the same would apply to Rose, who is prolly jumping higher than he ever did as a teenager. My point was that it would be hard to imagine someone jumping 15-20% higher than these 4.

  • @EGarrett01 BTW I don't follow the NFL either, but it is common knowledge that the average NFL player jumps significantly higher than the average NBA player. I couldn't believe this at first either. On the official NFL website, there are 38 players that scored a 40 inch vertical in the last three combines (2009-2011). I think you would be hard-pressed to find 38 active players in the entire NBA that can jump 40 from a standstill.

  • @Mokrybeans

There are 1,700 players in the NFL and only 300 in the NBA...and you're shocked that they have more total guys with 40 inch verticals? Come on, man.

  • @EGarrett01 Actually, around 700 competed in the NFL combine from 2009-2011 and nba.com states there were 438 in the nba before the draft, so now you're exaggerating. It is a reasonable comparison IMO, and unless you show me hard data that proves otherwise, we will have to agree to disagree on this issue.

  • @Mokrybeans

That's more guys in the combine than are on ALL NBA ROSTERS PUT TOGETHER. Why don't you try adjusting for scale. There were 38 guys from 09-11 in the NFL combine that had 40 inch verticals, and the NFL has 5x the number of players. I'll definitely bet that were 8 guys in the NBA Draft combine who had 40 inch verticals from 09-11.

  • @EGarrett01

    Iman Shumpert - 2011 - 42"

    Josh Selby - 2011 - 42"

    Mustapha Farrakhan - 2011 - 41.5"

    Nemanja Nedovic - 2011 - 41"

    Travis Leslie - 2011 - 40.5"

    Isaiah Thomas - 2011 - 40"

    Terrico White - 2010 - 40"

    Jonny Flynn - 2009 - 40"

    Bad argument go away now.

  • @EGarrett01 Bad argument, go away now? LOL. I looked up where you got those stats (Draftexpress and Nbadraft) and the stats are clearly for RUNNING vertical jump, not for standing VJ as the NFL tests. To make a fair comparison, here's Standing Vertical Jump data

    Iman Shumpert - 2011 – 36.5"

    Josh Selby - 2011 – 29.5"

    Nemanja Nedovic - 2011 – 32.4"

    Travis Leslie - 2011 - 33"

    Isaiah Thomas - 2011 – 31.5"

    Terrico White - 2010 - 31"

    Jonny Flynn - 2009 - 33"

    Bad argument

  • @Mokrybeans

That's not a fair comparison because you're trying to compare the high ends that don't have even amounts of raw data. You don't know much about statistical distributions do you? When you have 5 TIMES AS MANY PEOPLE, YOU'RE GOING TO GET HIGHER MAXIMUMS. Thus, attempting to compare maximums is meaningless and proves only that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

  • @EGarrett01 I am getting sick and tired of your attitude. You can clearly see that I've posted the average SVJ for ALL athletes in the combines. Whether you buy the results is irrelevant because they are official data and you are simply voicing your opinion, as I was about Derrick Rose. Secondly, of the 204 athletes that did SVJs for the 2011 NFL combine, 11 had an SVJ of at least 40, combared to ZERO of 150 at the NBA combine(09-11). The NFL sample size is 33% bigger, not 500%. Let it go.

  • @Mokrybeans

I just checked and there are roughly 100 vertical leaps listed for players at the 2010 NBA Draft Camp, and nearly 300 for the NFL Draft Combine. That's not 33% bigger. You're off by a factor of 10. Furthermore I couldn't care less about the maximum results of two groups that don't match in sample size, and neither does anyone else who knows basic statistics. Lastly, show me the 46-50" running verticals if the NFL guys have 40" standing verts. I don't buy it.

  • @EGarrett01 This is getting meaningless. I got my data from the NFL.com & DraftExpress. They appear to be the most comprehensive. Only about 80% of the NFL candidates did the SVJ, hence the lower number (233 to 204). I have done 13 yrs of postgrad training and it doesn't take a neurosurgeon to see the difference. If you want to input the data into ActivStats to look for statistical significance for the mean SVJ, your p will not only be < 0.05, but prolly < 0.001 in favor of the NFL. Go ahead

  • @EGarrett01 More hard facts: Approximately 150 athletes tested for standing vertical jump at the NBA Combine from 2009-2011. Guess how many had a standing vertical jump of at least 40 inches.... ZERO. In fact, the highest was 36.5 inches -- not even close. The average SVJ at the 2010 NBA combine was only 27.3 inches, in 2011 is was 29.1 inches. The 2011 NFL combine average SVJ was 32.6 inches. There is simply no comparison between the official NFL-NBA combine SVJ data. NONE.

  • @Mokrybeans

I don't buy that the NFL measures vertical jump in the same manner that the NBA measures standing vertical jump because the results have no logical match at all. Secondly, you've made a serious of idiotic claims like saying Derrick Rose has a 44" vertical leap which you were shown by data to have pulled directly out of your ass. Are you going to admit that you were just making things up?

  • The Standing vertical jump is measured the exact same way at both combines. They both allow you to swing your arms (which is really the only important consideration), and are both tested on a vertec. There is no difference.

  • Respond to this video... I am a nobody recreational baller and my running vert was consistently higher than most NBA players. 40-42" was my normal consistent jump. I could squeak out a few more inches with max effort on a "perfect" jump. That was natural hops. Even right now being WAY past my prime, my running vert is higher than most players in the L. Few NBA player under 6' are dunking after 30 yrs. I have to work at it now though. I can still get mid 30's easily about 40 max. c vids.

  • @EGarrett01 He didn't even touched the top of the ceiling if you look at it bro -_-

  • nobody ever said that he it. it says tries to touch 12'6''

  • @SeanFaasamala I know but this guy is trying t say that the video is misleading.

  • I could do that if i was 7ft tall

  • @Bigron1081 shut the fuck up

  • thats 81 inches

  • if he could jump an inch higher, the fall might kill him.

  • he does touch it

  • Dude's got hop's big time damn

  • look how high he is at 0:23 holy crap

  • Bruh you forgot to tap A again to double jump

  • Anybody has a video from this guy's leg workout?

  • im glad i cant jump that high, im scared of heights.

  • im 5'9 i can dunk on 6ft rim

  • it seems like a 45-inch vertical jump rather than 53.....but i have seen tdub get his head over the rim.

  • fuark

  • some people say that there will be no man to stay in mid air for at least a second, this vid proves wrong,if u time it right when both feet leave the ground and land then the time should come to about 1.13 seconds

  • @bigpete15001 around 1,60 second :P

  • Ive seen people die after they fall from this height

  • fake!!!!!!

  • @TheSufan1000 Have you seen this guys other vids? I don't think it's fake.

  • @TheSufan1000 dat shit aint fake you just hating

  • he is half bird

  • Pause at 0:23, T-dub is fixing the light and flying at the same time.. XD

  • i dont believe this only average people can dream jumping like that

  • 0:23 hoooly craaap :D:D

  • it must hurt when he touches the ground

  • the brother just listen to music, didn't give a fk

  • on sports science they said its impossible to stay in the air for more then 1 second well this video proves them wrong

  • how high off the ground were his feet?

  • i did that before n then i woke up!

  • He would touch it, if he had APL's on!

  • kadour ziani would have touched it :P nah jokes

  • just fly is sitting there like "im not impressed" lol

  • @curjos09 just fly was hatin because dude is only 5'9 doin that and he is 6'4 wit long arms

  • You know you have hops when after you finish trying to touch the ceiling, you have to wait to come down.

  • u can see his 55 inch vertical is real.

  • What is the vertical jump, it must be over 50 if that's a 12'6 touch unless his standing reach is over 8'4? Isn't that huge for a 5'9?

  • nigge

  • it's amazing how we value something so pointless

  • WOW

  • they have hidden springs in thier legs

  • well hes the best cheat ever..........BLACK

  • I can jump this high on a good day.
