Great scene from great film. Carey was a strikingly original actor. Once seen, never forgotten. I like what IMDB has: "Timothy Carey had one of the most unusual careers of all Hollywood character actors, obtaining full cult status for his portrayals of the doomed, the psychotic and the plain crazy. Carey's career was an "Only in America" type of story, and he retains his status as a Great American Original a decade after his death..."
One of the coolest films ever. The minute-by-minute narration, everything. "Point Break" must have been inspired by this. I LOVE it. I won 2,000 dollars on a 99-1 long shot once, and it was a feeling like I had "robbed" the track.
Only seen 2 mins., and I know I'm gonna like Timothy Carey, he's new to me, Cagney,McGueen,Garfieild,Stewart, ETC. T.Carey has this charisma, after 2 mins. I reckon he ain't gonna waffle.
I came here because of a Yo La Tengo lyric...
