Never heard this version before. It is rather hard to get hold of these old 78´s with Danish Jazz. I have the 4x box "Guldalder Jazz" on Lp, to have a more fullfill sound. The Danish Jazz scene were really swinging back then.

Definantly a catchy verzion of this song. 'Sposed to learn this song for an upcoming play.. and I honestly don't know the original singer. Could anyone tell me the original singer or is this verzion good enough so that if I sing it I sound like I know the song? I know differnt artist convey differntly so~

He played with his band in "National Scala" now known as Scala, colse to Tivoli here in copenhagen, right across the street in "Giraffen"(now Metropol formerly known as Palladium cinema) Jørn Grauengaard orchestra was the house band, but that was later(midfifties to early sixties)

Ewans was one of the best in a short-lived period of Danish jazz glory.

His vocalist Raquel Rastenni moved on to a career as pop singer with perpetuel sunshine in her voice.
