  • I don't get it how can you be a Christian Atheist

I've looked at the Wiki page for the term

but if you're an atheist surely that means you don't believe in Jesus? :/

  • it must be nice to be at the place where you can see the bible as stories

I can see some of then as stories....still have hell fire and brimstone indoctrinated in my bones/veins

Samson and Delilah = strength is in hair not in muscle...no need for protein shakes and gym workouts, just grow your hair out ya hippie metal heads; and you'll be as strong as an ox

  • That OLD, TIRED, ABSURD, and COMPLETELY DEBUNKED argument is all you've got?

If someone dares speak logic, and you have no answer whatsoever, OH, they're of the DEVIL and DON'T LISTEN, because the devil is too fucking clever.

That's like a wildcard to use to dismiss ANY fact that a christian finds disagreeable to his sick and wicket dogma.

You're not going to save anyone here.

Why don't you go SHOVE JESUS UP YOUR -OWN- ASS instead of trying to shove that nasty, angry fuckball up my ass.

  • mrpayn,

God revealed HIS Word in HIS time and way using HIS servants.

He doesn't need the permission of clipboarded, limitation-loaded, non-omniscient, fallen sinners to o.k. His purposes..

    ..nor high priests..

"Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness." (Lu 3:2)

    Receive Christ.

    Walk with Him.

Why not be on the winning side for a change?

    :-)

  • @trac4yt if ignorance is bliss you must be one happy mofo

  • theevo,

AFTER you become a NEW CREATION in Christ, beginning Bible commentary will be on the horizon.

    The Bible is always infallible.

Of course, defiant sinners can't stand that.

"All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (2Ti 3:16)

    :-)

  • trac4yt -

My Bible doesn't make any reference whatsoever to Jesus. If I were to take the same tack as you did with the Qu'uran, then I could just dismiss anything that came after it as poorly-conceived sequels & unauthoritative commentary. It's just as valid.

  • You cite a text inside the bible to prove the bible is the truth?

    _

I could do that with the Vedas, the Qu'ran, and many others, dude.

  • @xxGLhrMxx well the Qur’an and bible take both their testaments from the same text that the torah also uses so it's not a stretch saying you can prove either. I find the archaeological and historical information even more amazing than the bible text. In the 1980's a man tried to prove sound from horns could not destroy a brick wall, he failed and proved that the same decibel sound as would have been used at Jericho could not only destroy an ancient wall but modern ones as well.

  • so i take it that you don't believe that god is all powerfull

"...The LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron." -- Judges 1:19

"could not", a impossibility for a god who is saposed to be omnipotent, yet the bible is infallible so the bible proves that god is not omnipotent.

  • sh0,

Philosophers, on their deathbeds want REAL answers. They know that goofy, syllogism puzzle arguments don't get it.

"And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." (Joh 6:40)

    :-)

  • Luckily John added a couple blatant heaven references, as he was the last Gospel written. Each author, especially John, had different take on what jesus' effect would be. Mark, first gospel, says Jesus will return to earth to create His "kingdom" before some of the apostles die. When John wrote his gospel all the apostles were dead and Jesus hadn't come back. So John re-invents the "kingdom of God". And nothing similar to your quote can be found in the three earlier synoptic Gospels.

  • ComCodex where did you get this audio? Thanks for posting it!

  • A clip from Bob's Bible Geek internet radio show. I think he still produces them. Check his website.

  • Bibles are all a joke right? lets focus on the fact that humans should be past this by now why cant you just worship this planet?

  • johnn,

God inspired and providentially preserved His Word perfect in the Bible via HIS promises. It is thus sacred, infalible, and final authority.

You're all tangled up in the captivity to unbelief common among unsaved, fallen sinners.

    All is God-centric..

    ..not fallen-sinner centric.

Never doubt the Word of God.

Jesus Christ would teach you likewise.

    :-)

  • Your arguments are weak and your mind is weaker.

  • You said: "God inspired and providentially preserved His Word perfect in the Bible via HIS promises. It is thus sacred, infalible, and final authority." That's an assertion without proof. Read "Misquoting Jesus" and "Jesus Interrupted" for a fair treatment of the subject.

You also said: "You're all tangled up in the captivity to unbelief common among unsaved, fallen sinners." In my experience with "Christians," the loudest ones have diagnosed mental problems and are two-faced.

  • ptica,

    Oh, not at all.

    I ALREADY HAVE everlasting life..

    ...guaranteed IN CHRIST.

But YOU need to hear the Gospel also.

    You'll never be the same.

Your life will take on eternal significance.

    :-)

  • no offence, but are you fgor real? the bible is full of contradictions and interpolations, written into it up to the 10th century. there are more translation mistakes made in all translations of the nt than there are words in the nt. this is undisputed fact. the greek translation of some of jesus' quotes only make literal sense (using unique greek double entendres) in greek, and since he spoke in aramaich, he could not have said these things. study the bible before you swallow it whole please.

  • bsint,

Just read your Bible and never doubt it.

If fact, download an infallible one for yourself..

    bibleprotector . com

    :-)

  • comdex,

The NT is the OT revealed.

The OT is the NT concealed.

God reveals HIS ways in HIS times.

    Christ never doubted.

    Thus, HIS faith..

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Ga 2:20)

    :-)

  • Video's overrated.

  • Modify? Why would the OT need to be modified?

The Bible paints the believer into a corner by making doubt into a sin. Why would Yahweh be offended by honest questions to the book's veracity?

It's the fear of jeopardizing their alleged salvation that can restrict Christians from asking questions. A sad state to be in.

  • trac4yt, that meANS you are enroute to HELL

  • ratio,

Yes, the Holy Spirit will guide you also in HIS authored Book, the Bible...

    ..after you get saved.

    The Bible is always infallible.

And the NT is THE final authority on all OT references found therein...

    ..Not OT commentators.

  • trac4yt- than can you explain why we use the masoretic text for the old, and the nt writer only quoted the septuigint. These 2 texts are very different. And we have no originals. So which one is right?

  • Dr. Price Kills it everytime

  • :-)

  • I see we have a theological nimrod on our hands.

By your reasoning, we should also toss out all of the Levitical scholars, Rabbinic priests, and scribes of the Judaic law because the dispensation of the Holy Spirit had not yet occurred.

Obviously, their scriptural reasoning was equally "N/A".

Perhaps you should reword "get saved" to "remove reasoning, hermeneutics and deduction."

Just let the Spirit guide you, eh? The same one that apparently divided Paul and Peter? (Gal. 2)

    Brilliance.

  • The real miracle is not the story of Jonah, but the fact that modern people are trying to find some morality in this fantasy. Peace !!

  • Amazing Price.

  • Can't hear enough from Dr. Price! So refreshing to listen to a biblical scholar who knows his stuff and is entertaining.

  • GOTMOREPRICE? LOL Just kidding.... this guy is fascinating!!!!! Five Stars !!!!

  • Thanks. More to come...
