The reason people believe in polygraph is because T.V and law enforcement have made the public believe that it is quite accurate in determining a liar. Does it work or not? If it doesn't than why demand a polygraph to dissprove someone or redeem another? This video is pointless. I know one of the factors of a polygraph test is hand-sweating. I have a genetic disorder which my dad has as well called hyperhidrosis, which causes the hands to sweat regardless of temperature or state-of-mind. I can be totally relaxed and it may not even be warm in the room and my hands will sweat.

A lie detector is not 99.9% accurate. I have seen wear people take a polygraph and fail then knowing they weren't lieing request another one and pass. This is quite common. The polygraph companies as well as those who perform the polygraphs say they are 99.9%. Your not going to get much business saying sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.

While polygraphy is questionable to begin with, the polygraph examination of Larry Sinclair was particularly questionable. It was performed by a fraudulent Ph.D., and his finding that Sinclair lied on the drug question was contradicted by computerized scoring of the charts.

Aside from your ignorant comment on his looks, why should we have to be able to "tell what side the guy is on" politically related to any subject? He is just telling the unscientific nature of polygraph tests. And he is correct. They are used to get people to tell the truth because they think they will be caught. Some people can fool polygraphs.
