@rolldito i.e. Once the system thinks SME blocks it, every vid shows up as blocked, even if your browser magically changes geographic region via a vpn or whatever.

It sucks, because the music is wonderful. I switched to listening to the G variations, but found the same problem a few tracks into your playlist.

I'm not sure about Gould's interpretation of the G variations... not sure if some 'hidden depth' will grow on me, but I just feel like I've heard better versions. More 'to the point'

@frankenzizschen Gould and his producers / engineers were known to do tons of editing and splicing of different takes. So it's possible that's a more obvious one. I would vote that it's a splice as opposed to a performance thing where's he's repeating the same note, just doesn't sound natural.

@frankenzizschen After listening a few times, I'm torn between whether it's a splice or if he just quickly repeated the same note. Gould's technique was so lightning fast he could have repeated that note. At the same he did tons of editing with his producers and engineers. The world may never known, and Gould would have a good laugh over this whole discussion.
