Well this is not Metal Gear Solid but Metal Gear Rising ... But it's still a METAL GEAR game ( You know ? The first one on MSX ?) It was a stealth action game with a serious plot and a great storyline ! And now it's a Beat'em All with a story of vengeance ? You mean like a Steven Seagal movie but with Robots ? It's not Badass at all when you see Raiden saying "lets have some fun" it's just not "Jack the ripper" from MGS2 and MGS4, who was really bad ass and dark, twisted character !

I am not that upset..(i'm happy i didnt reserve it...they kept pushing it back) so, they cancelled MGS Rising (yeah, it was actually called that) and platinum games picked up the title for a paycheck. Funny thing, platinum games have great quality but this title looks rushed. To me is just a clusterfuck of ideas. Nobody is going to be happy. Even Kojima is upset

3) ITS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE A METAL GEAR SOLID GAME,

They had two choices:

a) go with a serious storyline, epic, with raiden, roaming about like in assassins creed, stealth and cutting, epic serious story between mgs2-4.

b) THIS CHOICE which they chose to do.

That is... call it mg rising, no solid, a departure from the serious, WAS MEANT TO BE CHEESY PURPOSLY.

Why do you think they gave platinum games to go ahead for this?

@MegaJohnnybravo123 Actually, this game WAS a Metal Gear Solid title when it was initially revealed to people. It was called Metal Gear Solid Rising. Do a search for E3 2010 and you will see the METAL GEAR SOLID RISING trailer.

MGS4 wrapped everything up, if anything it would be best to have a mg1 remake, or a stroy between peacewalker and mg1.
