I was really happy with this port back in the day, for the Amiga this is very good. The Amiga was getting old by the time this game came out in the arcades so with that in mind its a decent port for the hardware used.

Acctually you get human smoke (if you see him in the forest stage) when the guy in the bottom corner pops out exclaming "TOASTY" press up and start simultaniously and then you can fight him

I had unlocked human smoke but i don't really know how to do that equally, on portal scene i stand on the center of the portal in the background, did uppercut and when dan forden head appears i turned autofire on and start to wiggling joystick something like back, up, down pattern, this happen to me only once. strange it's hard to to find how to get fight with this character on amiga.

I remember that MKII worked on A500 with 1MB RAM!, but gameplay was bit slower than on A1200 (2MB) and you had to change disks on FATALITIES. ;D But it was possible to play. I've got A1200. :)

shaolin monks takes place during mk 2, thats why you fight kintaro shang tsung and shao kahn at the end, so its way before deception in the mk timeline.

In order to unlock smoke you have to press down+start when in the air and Dan Forden says "Toasty".

It's MK2 and no one pays attention to the storyline. If they did, then everyone would be disappointed because the creators are very inconsistent. I've always been into the story, but it seems to contradict itself a lot. Then they get called on it and they have to backtrack making up other shit that fucks up other parts of the story...it's just a mess. Luckily, they're not trying to become writers. They make video games.

Blaze's only appearance in this game is on one of the bridge levels, where you can see him fighitng a palate swap of Liu Kang called Hornbuckle on the farther bridge. Blaze was called Torch then, but changed to Blaze when he became a character.

To challenge Smoke you must:

A) Do uppercuts on the Portal Stage, until Dan Forden says "Toasty". Hold down and keep pressing start.

B) At the character select screen, press up, left, up, up, right, select. You will hear a noise signifying the code was accepted.
