i made a spear but it kinda sucks but you can try it but it sucks .so it goes like this....remember im a kid so dont yell at me alot : 1 bammbo stick /or any stick and metal

1 sharp knife/commando knife

and duct tape the good ones

you take the knife and you cut a hole in front not a big one but a hole then put the knife inside and put duct tape around it paint it if you want for cool looking and remember Dont Yell at me if this sucks....

i made my own spear before i found this. wat i did was take a long branch (or a wooden dowl) and shave the top thiner until i could fit a metal pipe around the top, from there i used a vice and squeased the bottom of the pipe (the part around the branch/dowl) so it wouldn't fall off, then i squeased the top on to a flat blade, the i squeased it the other way and made a square point. soon i hope to make a new acount and upload toutorals on the weapons i make.

another way to make it stronger is to get some sheet metal then trace the patterns on it then cut it out with eletric tin snips or something else that cuts metal and weld the pices instead of glueing them then follow the rest of the instructions but dont paint the metal.

I like the idea u have but to make it even stronger I would suggest maybe melting aluminum cans centers and then once melted put multiple layers of the substance on the two tips making it cardboard coated in metal but it would feel like just metal.

it would be cool if the real spartan spear heads looked like that in history. Oh well.... It looks cool. Oh and if you were making one made of steel dont do that. use an Ash Wood Shaft with a bronze butt spike and an Iron spear head. Then you got a real one. It was an age of iron so all weapons were made of iron and even though the Bronze age had been over, they still used bronze pieces here and there. I hope you had fun in Greece. AWSOME country.
