  • ........thats how he signed his "Christmas Card" to Representative King!........geez it was a ploy to get the discussion on KING and not a "mu-ham-mud"

  • you know what really gets me? one of the reasons we are not leaving afghanistan is that there is corruption in the goverment.you will never get rid of goverment corruption. and the fact that our goverment is worried about it is astonishingly hypocritical considering the amount of corruption in our own goverment. screw afghanistan leave em to thier own devices and bring our boys home and stop spending all this money on a war we will never win....

  • check namesofthedead

what up with the comment ?. keep eating it

  • Fail!!

  • what's even funnier is when they call themselves a political party

  • Clearly this guy has no idea what he's talking about. He can't even say the Afghan President's name properly.

  • Oh my, more shameful flame wars....

Who needs a rational empiricist approach when you can just point to a flag and shout?

  • All those names sound alike don't they republicans?

  • You are talking about the part that thought Osama Bin Laden sounded exactly like Saddam Hussein.

  • :D lol!!

  • A gaff. Absolutely not worthy of posting.

    ★✩✩✩✩

  • "raghead" would have sufficed

  • All republicans are dipshits.

  • There used to be many Republicans one could point to and counter such an accusation. Unfortunately, most of them have been run out of the party by dipshits.

  • I'd be surprised if he said something wise. He has consistently shown bad judgment and that has not slowed him down from opening his mouth.

No. He is not a representation of all Americans.

  • its like mistaking stewart for steven

  • Your comparison doesn't work.

Muhammed for Hamid. Come on they don't start with the same letter and don't have the same number of syllables.

  • What a goof. This is why americans aren't well liked abroad. Without checking wikipedia, who's Canada's head of state? You yanks can win some credibility if you can answer it.

  • Harper.. some conservative wanker

  • We may not know many "facts" about Canada, such as who your king is or what continent you call home, but we do know that your health care system is shit.

I mean, it takes four hours for our American system to recognize the only patient in an emergency room (such as my father), and another hour to sit in front of an empty x-ray machine. Thus you Canada-folk must be dropping like flies!

  • Yep, must be worse than the US system, where 44,000 people die each year due to lacking insurance. Awesome system you guys have going there.

  • Google this study, you douche bag: "Health Insurance and Mortality in US Adults"

It's conclusion: "[...] uninsurance is to blame for some 44,789 adult deaths across the U.S., every year."

So go fuck yourself, you anti-American moron.

  • MrHelldogger, you're getting your pinko commies and your socialist hippies confused again. I don't know about the uninsured numbers - but I'd bet the number of deaths due to insurance companies screwing their policy holders is even higher. And I'll give you a name. Tara. She was being treated for medulloblastoma at the same time my son had cancer. She had to leave the clinic part way through treatment due to insurance denial - I saw her name on the "angels" board a few months later.

  • AIDS carrying sodomites? So everyone who has AIDS is gay?

  • >No one in this country dies of lack of health care.

Congratulations. You just typed the stupidest statement of the month. That's quite an achievement, considering the idiocy that's being spewed in the healthcare "debate" and the pseudo-scandal surrounding the hacked/leaked emails from climate scientists. One more time:

"No one in this country dies of lack of health care"

    Wow. I'm flabbergasted.

  • Lol you got shut down.

  • The argument isn't that people are dying because they're being denied health care (although that's a different, and very valid, argument).

The argument is that people can't AFFORD it.

  • God Bless America, the greatest capitalist nation of earth, where you can go make more money & afford anything you want. I don't want the govt to buy my health ins. I want them to buy me a 4 wheel drive pickup & a snow mobile.

  • What the fuck kind of fairy land are you from?

  • helldogger, what you fail to understand is that hospitals are only required by law to provide treatment for EMERGENCY conditions. Cancer, heart disease, etc aren't classified as emergency conditions.

As someone else posted, look at the website namesofthedead where there are dozens of stories posted about people who died because they couldn't afford healthcare, or had their coverage rescinded, or denied.

  • What you fail to understand is that right now you have the right to better yourself & make on your own. After this you will not.

22% unemployment. Zero progress in small business, all waiting to see what happens with Health care & Cap & Trade. I am already making arrangements with other businesses to do business on a barter system agreement. Remember the Volstead Act.

  • Nice dodge helldogger. Fail.

  • @kaysandesses Conservatives are great at trying to dodging things dating back to the draft, their homosexuality, the fact the 9/11 and the Anthrax attacks were on shrubs watch.

MrHelldogger- simply self-projects he/she's own inadequacies. Just like Sarah Palin. Conservative drove this country into a ditch- yet complain about the cost of the tow truck. These are the same kooks clinging to Reagen who entered office with full blown dementia. They idolize a urban cowboy vegetable.

  • @AtSwimTwoBricks

I feel a confusion of amusement at your potential irony and annoyance at your potential seriousness comment. I sense the irony, but I'm not sure.

  • mavaddat,

While the story about my father is true (avoid Bell Memorial in Ishpeming, MI), I'm not that far-gone. It's irony.

I'm just in a mood right now about how we can sometimes be both ignorant of basic facts and cock-sure of things that just aren't so. Two problems that are usually, ironically, found together.

  • You do realize that you can't argue that Canada's health care system "is shit" by only giving an example of a different country's health care system.

  • Formally it's Queen Elizabeth II, but I don't think that's the answer you might like to hear. :P

  • Wow. I started a comment war. Go me. Congratulations: You win.

  • Bonus points if you had said "She's represented by Michaelle Jean, the Governor General." I take it you watch Jeopardy too?

  • No, we don't have Jeopardy on TV over here...(I'm from The Netherlands)

  • Fool.

  • I can't believe he would say that!
