helldogger, what you fail to understand is that hospitals are only required by law to provide treatment for EMERGENCY conditions. Cancer, heart disease, etc aren't classified as emergency conditions.

As someone else posted, look at the website namesofthedead where there are dozens of stories posted about people who died because they couldn't afford healthcare, or had their coverage rescinded, or denied.
