hey would you say this thickness is comparable to the iphone3?

The iPhone 3 version of the SG case is a slightly older design, but the relative size of the Sensation 4G version is about the same. So the overall thickness of the IP3 version (if you owned it) shouldn't feel that much different against the Sensation 4G version.

@DayDeal_com Does the gel layer/ silicone layer attract lint? It's a real bug for me and i hate it.

Yes it does - quite a bit. Ballistic is a great company, but they have yet to start implementing anti-static coatings on their cases. Trident and Otterbox have only recently started to do this with their newer cases also, so probably it's a matter of time for them as well.
