Promow gang reels, for the ground driven manual mowers, those are probably one of the best to get as far as good cutting and ease of maintainence. I have a smaller version of the same reel from the company that supplies Promow with their reels. Mind you, I'm referring to the GOLD series, not the residential style based on that God-awful 5 bladed unit like the majority of reel mowers you see in most hardware stores.

The motor was made by Advanced DC Motors, Inc and is their model #A00-4009, described as: (24V - 72V) 2HP - 12HP. I purchased all electronic parts from Electric Vehicles of America, Inc.
