I am completely serious here. For me, part of the charm of Runescape was how the graphics weren't high resolution, but were good in their own way. Say what you will, Runescape 20-05,-06,-07 was beautiful.

In the song "Cut Friends" by Camouflage, at the beginning and later in the song, the artist seems to be sampling a RuneScape track. Back then Scammers dominated bots. The world was a giant flea market. Now its a grey world and the markets are like a corporate business filled with bots. Jagex fought scammers so hard that they did not realise that scammers made the game more realistic, the game was based on decisions like "should i buy it or not buy it... Maybe some1 else can sell lower.." Jagex created their own downfall by listening to noobs who are stuid enough to be scammed in the first place...Scammers over Bots any day
@jallar4 EXACTLY, if you ever got scammed it's your own fault and if you quit because of it.. even better one retard less and the community becomes a little better.
@jallar4 Bots are the only thing that regulate the economy, sharks would be 2k each, essence would be 400gp each and yews and magic logs would be SO EXPENSIVE considering it takes forever to get a full invt. RS relies on bots to do the jobs that no one else does.
@jallar4 Then switch worlds...FYI because of the overpopulation of bots, Jagex is always updating and releasing new areas too. Besides the point the only thing Bots could stop you from leveling is Woodcutting and Mining and only if you're f2p there are barely any member bots in my experience.

every one. there is aprivate server that is currently being worked on it can be found at rs2-remake(dot) com it will be the most accurate remake of runescape to date and will be modeled after runescape in its golden years.! there is already a huge community and the page is nearly identical to old runescapes!

I never really got to a super high level but damnit, I enjoyed this game so much when I was a teen... adventurin', dyin', scammin', open pvp outside of lumbridge
Sometimes I think I'll go back to you one day... but then I realize that even though your graphics have "improved" you have lost your soul Runescape, my old friend .

they'll do away with "born to do this" eventually. it's like... tradition to swap out the theme every 8-9 months.

ahh, i remember back when people had to buy their armor and weapons from other people, and when prices didnt rise and drop, and when the graphics were the shittiest (but forever best) graphics ever.Back when there werent all these extra rules. Back when the website didnt use retarded paintings to represent the game. Back when everyone was amazed if you had dragon armor. Now youre just a noob if you dont have barrows. Back when people actually cared about the game they were playing.
