  • I think this is the best of the prequel films. the acting in the other 2 was horrendous.

  • Did jar jar call queen amidala 'pweety hot'?

  • Watch and wonder as the actors shuffle dispassionately through the glorious CG landscapes of Coruscant, mumbling dialogue that foreshadows yet more standing around and stale dialogue to come. The whole planet is a city, folks! A city of.....stale political exposition. Enjoy your stay and watch your step, it's a long fall to a certain death thousands of meters below, and they don't believe in handrails in the Old Republic.

  • Qui Gon: "I must speak with the council the situation has become much more complicated were out of Sync"

  • did jar jar call the queen hat?

  • Jedi power - Force speak: Speak faster than spd of sound so the sound goes before the scene.

  • Jar Jar thinks Padmes hot? Thats putting terrible images in my head.

  • @SIMONCOW311 Why, because he's not human? You know how many humans find Twi'leks' hot?

They look human, and their headtails go back almost like how human female hair does, so it doesn't look weird to human eyes. That added with the face that many female Twi'leks have their bellybutton showing (even Jedi Aayla Secura; considering Jedi are not suppose to fall in love, and showing her stomach is temping to males).

All of that, no wonder humans find females of this other species irresistible.

  • I'm confused why Anakin turns around 0:16 and weird music plays

  • @Gforcebond

    So's Anakin.

  • Did Jar Jar say the queen is Pretty HOT?!?!?!

  • its out of sink

  • @monkeyfilms22 *sync

  • It very cool that he put this back among some others for the dvd release.

  • It looks like a Kilrathi piloting the taxi.

  • @Trelawney50 It does! :D

  • 0:57 is not Blade Runner???

  • @cuykryshna i was thinking exacly same thing:o

  • @cuykryshna no its star wars

  • I saw this scene on VHS, so maybe it was deleted for theatrical release not VHS. Thats all I'm saying...

  • why is this scene deleted?

  • @ZacACoolDude

It was in the theatrical release. But they put it back in the movie ten yrs. ago for the dvd debut.

  • That is not a deleted scene... shame on you

  • lol jarjar you racist pos

  • this scene was in the movie

  • it is not a deleted scene!

  • @Knallkopf91 Yes it is actually.

  • i could see why they'd delete this

  • That FUCKING JAR JAR ... "Yessup, Iza goood Nigga Boss"

  • they have put in the scene now into the films.

    if you buy the saga

  • in a long time ago and a galaxy far far away... VIDEO WAR

The speed of light fights a desperate battle against that of sound, which rules over the video with an iron fist. However, an ancient prophesy dictate that a young, NEW EDITOR will be born AND SORT THIS SHIT OUT !!!

SERIOUSLY NO WONDER THIS WAS DELETED.

  • Che figata vivere in quei mondi ç_ç

  • why is delete?

  • @werty3535 the Jedi council knew he was trouble. It's all Qui-Gon's fault. Then Obi-wan didn't kill the bastard when he had the chance, so look what happened!

  • @TheLeatheryman

You forget that vader did kill the emporer.

  • @wolfen150 yeah 20 years later and millions of lost lives along with Alderaan. It's like he was Joseph Goebbels and he'd redeemed himself by killing Hitler.. Of course if Obi-wan and Yoda did a double tag team on the Emperor and then went to see what they could do with Anakin, then it would have blown the old trilogy to retcon'sville. What ya gonna do?

  • @wolfen150 agreed. His had his moments..good and bad

  • @TheLeatheryman

I think most of his good moments were in eps 1.

  • @werty3535 That makes good drama and great story

  • @werty3535 Well he does, think about it at the end of Return he kills pal and he dies, thus ending the sith

  • @werty3535 did you watched the movies in the end ............

actualy im not gona tell you you dumb ass so shut the fuck up

long live george lucas and star wars

  • @werty3535 u r the dumbest star wars fan i have ever heard of

  • @Levente20 and why do you think that????

  • @Levente20 well im a true star wars fan too, but i never down the new ones...they did ok in them, more fighting though....but everyone has their opinions..

  • Wait a minute.... Wasn't this scene in the movie?

  • @Rafathaman94 yes it was

  • @Rafathaman94 I think that also!

  • jar jar the best:)

  • BINKS. You must die by my hand

  • This scene shows just how little Quigon cares about Anakin. A boy he -should- be trying to cultivate a trust-bond with & one who clearly wants to "But I wanna do guy things too!" go with him.

"Run along now..." completely destroys any sense of Quigon as an empathetic person and skilled potential mentor because it has to be taken in the context of his presenting the boy to the council like a piece of meat.

  • Also, if Jar Jar isn't a black stereotype then why does he sound like he's talking in street speech ebonics?

He is about as out of place here (and in Theed) as shade tree in the Sahara but it's the way he -acts- that is actually offensive.

If mimicking such mangled speech forms is how Lucas thinks 'all little kids' should learn to talk, he's sorely mistaken. White kids at least should never be taught this way.

As a boyhood chump, he makes Anakin look stupid for wanting to be around him.

  • you are looking way to much into it, qui-gon has his duty too, and he knows he cant have anakin present when he talks about the sith returning and that he thinks Anikin is the chosen one right in front of him. Piece of meat? Lol what bs.

  • Why Not? He has made it clear that there is a great deal of responsibility associated with being a Jedi. And the child has SEEN a Sith Warrior in action. Why suck him in on the basis of 'this is your -one- chance...' as a kind of warped privilege without giving him an honest assessment of the risks? Quigon can take him on a tour of the Temple after he waits in the anteroom for the High Muckety's to have their conflab. If this is 'too sensitive' then why take him to a WARZONE? Just Meat.

  • OMG the way Anakin acts from 016-028 is EWW.

  • ..how is it "eww?"

  • No this scene was deleted but it was in the dvd edition not the vhs edition

  • Phantom Menace was such an awesome cartoon! I don't know why George Lucas spoilt it by putting in all of those people... What was he thinking?

  • lol Hahahaahahhahaa, funny....

  • I like this little seq. , I'm glad it was reincorpirated.I particularly like the score in this scene.

  • Jar Jar is sooooo annoying!

  • no jar jar is so cool

  • were u hit in the head when u were young? lol

  • As much as everyone is HOPING Jar Jar said 'Pity, huh?' or something... there's no question he says 'Pretty Hot!'....

That's kinda like me finding a giraffe attractive from a species-to-species perspective... but I guess it shows a very positive view of cultural tolerance

  • If people watched the video carefully, they'd not have to write "This isn't deleted(?)" etc. It says 'Reincorporated' at the beginning.

  • i think he said 'pity huh' coz the queen shud be more frustrated coz of the situation and she is calm.

  • it's not deleted! It was in 1999, though

  • thay shud have kept that in

  • this scene is not deleted!

  • it was when released in theatres but added in the dvds

  • hmm this scene isn't deleted, i saw it on tv yesterday !

  • sometimes they show deleted scenes on tv, but you are right this wasn't deleted

  • ah yes it was dude, it wasnt in the theater release or on vhs, but 2 years later in 2001 when the DVD finaly came out this scene plus several podracing moments were added back into the film.

  • @hey134 so it was deleted but they put it back in years before this video was posted

  • @1993DJC yeah lol, so it isnt really deleted anymore, but if you pop in the vhs version the scene is not there as it wasnt in the theater version and if you go on the dvd then it is back in the film, but can still be found in the deleted scenes section with the quote under it "reincorparated."

  • yeah they show the dvd versions of the film on spike tv, like they show the 2004 DVD versions of the original trilogy with the even more upgraded effects and the real actor doing the emperor in The Empire Striked Back instead of that old women who did it in the original 1980 version.

  • GODZILLA!!!

  • that one guy looks like a young tarkin

  • esta escena si esta en mi dvd

  • thanks for uploadin on my birthday!

  • @jakeatollah why are people thumbing this up?

  • @jakeatollah you shouldnt say stuff like that ya know

  • @avptremor why the hell not?

  • @jakeatollah giving personall detail

  • @avptremor ...thats not going to get me kidnapped. it doesn't matter if you know my birthday....

  • @jakeatollah I KNOW UR BIRTHDAY

  • @Suddenattack10 um..okay?

  • @jakeatollah Ur serious? My birthday is 22.5 too!

  • @Arzi5 ITS A SIGN

  • @Arzi5 its a sign!

  • This is in the Special Edition the DVD version the VHS version is the Theater version

  • the sound and mouth movement is out of syinch

  • The delay with the sound is huge!

  • @Anigamal66 it and the video are OVER 9000 feet apart!

  • sounds like he's saying pity huh, not pretty hot or whatever youve written before

  • haha i just spent the last 30 seconds thinking "he better have said 'pity huh' cos if it was 'pretty hawt...' then that was shiiit". and there you are. grivigro

  • Are you sure this is deleted?

Because I downloaded all 6 movies and this scene was in.

But anyway, thnx for uploading it

  • This scene was not in theaters in 1999.

  • i have the the thetericall version of the movie with this scene excluded which has the shot of senate chamber building from the front. it looks odd coz i have seen this scene and this one suits but that other shot gives a new feeling.

  • jar jars pretty hot comment is a bit awkward but i see the foreshodowing lucas was attempting here. i am okay with this being cut

  • You know the audio doesn't match up with the video

  • look at how old padme is. and how old anakin is. end then they fall in love. LOL

  • What can he say? He likes older women. lol

  • yeah at least hes got good taste, unlike lucas, who ruins everything

  • Is it just me or does the guy driving the taxi look very similar to a Graske from Doctor Who? lol

  • I think it's ugnaught

  • I think Jar Jar did say "pretty hot", but wasn't referring to Padme's appearance. I think he was referring to their ride and/or reception.

  • who knows... and remember, padme wasn't dressed as the queen then

  • This is on the 2001 dvd edition. Great music.

  • yeah for my version of the movie this is not deleted

  • This is not a deleted scene!!! I have all star wars movies( I am fan), this is a normal scene of EP 1.

  • It was deleted from the theatrical cut but put back when the film was released on DVD.

  • This isn't on the VHS Release either.

  • Because VHS doesnt have a Main Menu like a DVD.

  • did jar jar says that the queen or something like that is pretty hot????

  • I was wondering the same thing! I thought he might have said "pretty huh?" But it sounds more like "Pretty hot" I wonder why a gungan would be attracted to a human lol!

  • well i think natalie portman is enough reason for been attracted

  • Capital! Natalie Portman is very pretty!

  • but they put that scence again on the DVD

  • 0:24 - 0:28 = worst acting ever.

  • hey! i have downloaded a movie from USA, the Original Star Wars the Phantom menace, and it has this escene

  • This is not a deleted scene.

  • I think it was left out in the original, then re-added for the DVD release.

  • this was a deleted scene in the teatrical and video release but they put it in in the dvd release

  • Haha I thought jar jar said "pretty hot!"

  • lol, that was hilariously pointless

  • That's why they didn't actually INCLUDE that scene...

  • LAME!

  • lame

  • I think that this scene wasn't deleted, I have it in my movie and it's the old version.

  • u r right. i've seen that to!

  • i did not like this it was good to cut this scene it could ruin the excellent movie :D

  • Ages in star wars universe don`t fit anyway!!^^ Just think of Obi Wan..Anakins betrayal was 19 years before the battle of Yavin. That means Obi Wan during episode III had to be 2O years younger than Sir Alec Guiness, who played the character in episodes IV-VI. "Old" Obi Wan in episode IV had an age of at least 75, which means Ewan Mc Gregor played a 55 - year old man in Episode III! Baaad make - up or they just didn`t think it over!!^^^^

  • lets just say he aged gracefully ok

  • there is such a thing a healthy older men...my dads 57 but he looks 10 years younger

  • I think there is less then 10 years between them. In Ep 1 Anakin is maybe 6 or so, and Padme 13-14.

  • 5 years I think. Anakin was nine and Padme was 14.

  • no if you watch behind the scenes george lucas says the second one takes place 10 years later.

  • anakins 8 and padme is 15

  • Anakin is 9 and Padme is 14

  • ya ur right, i knew it was somewhere like tht

  • i have a question, anakin marries padme in later episodes but shes like 20 years older than him and how come she isnt aging?

  • err, girls don't change all that much between their later teens and their lower 20s.

  • the second one is supposed to be 10 years later. so i guess it depends on what age they were in the 1st one.

  • aakin was 9 n padme was only 14.

  • REALLY IT LOOKS LIKE SHE IS 20

  • haha yeah true true . i was shockd too.

  • ~whistle~

  • well she is in life. at least, then sh was.

  • lol pretty hot=P

  • you should get this fixed the sound is off key

  • eh i liked it but it was a little bad

  • This is like the opposite of what George did in Eps 4 and 5 when you saw more of Mos Eisley and Cloud City. You basically see less of Coruscant.

  • there's something wrong with the sound, kinda slow. btw i like ur account name, swdestiny, i wish i put that, :D

  • Damn Chancellor Valorum looks so pissed off at 0:25-0:26!

  • Your right

  • this was really a nice little scene that i think is really sad that they didn't keep in the final movie i like the little Anankin :)

  • imagine living in corusant o-o racing in the sky lanes =D that would be fun would it not?

  • Imagine the awful noise, all the time, living on coruscant would suck. But if you've played KOTOR, Manaan would be absolutely beautiful and Dantoine would be very peaceful. But I heard Korriban had the best parties...

  • Air taxi scene was made in order to show the most popular kind of transport on Coruscant. A limo-like speeder would be better in this scene, perhaps... Chancellor Valorum used a shuttle as said in SW databank. Perhaps the taxi was a special one, the fastest or smth else.

In game local thugs attack Panaka and Amidala, so you had to use lower levels to get to the Senate Chambers... Strange enough< but it is believed to be almost sw-canon.

  • well the did well deleting this scene. i thibnk that a single taxi is JUST PATHETIC for a chancellor and a queen. i mean they deserved escorts and stuff like that.. not a shitty taxi

  • The boy Anakin is the single most annoying thing every in all of the films he is what makes this film the worst of the lot.

  • Yeah, Anakin blows. And honestly, I reckon Laurence Fishburne would have portrayed that whole "I might be good but I'm still badass" side of Mace Windu better than Samuel L. But hey, each to their own.

  • fishburne would have been so much better, like i trust him, samuel l jackson kinda freaks me out, with the bugged out eyes and the freakish shouting voice

  • why does everyone hate jar jar so much i prefer him to that whining little shit anakin in this part of the trilogy

  • Yeah this scene I watched in tv

  • Horny bugger.

  • LOL ya jar jar did say pretty hot

  • what the hell? this scene wasn't deleted. i watched it
