Obamas INCREASE of the Capital Gains Tax from %15 to %20 will affect many Americans who have invested in the Stock Market for their retirement. The overall worth of the company will drop as well & the stock in that company, so it will be a 2 fold loss to the investor. McCain wants to keep it at %15 & hopes to lower it to %7. The lower the Capital Gains Tax the more capital, which in turn will actually bring more to the Government Coffers.

If steps are taken to improve relations, you wouldn't have to live in constant fear of being attacked. Almost every war in history started because of a lack of communication and blind nationalism.

those countries that have fear are scared because their government has controlled their media and made them think that thus making everybody fear and hate america for what lies their twisted leaders and told them. and their leaders have done that because they are greedy and they want their country to like them for it and thats the only way how. its all about jealousy and money, if you think im taking up for mcCain im not i dont like either guy. if that makes you feel better. honestly i HATE both

No country uses propaganda. In fact, most people around the world understand American politics better than the average American. Hell, my 10 year old cousin who lives in Europe understands American politics, stuff I can't even begin to understand myself.
And they don't fear. They just hate the fact that Americans don't give a shit about the world, and continue to believe that they are better than everyone not American. Not all Americans think that way, but majority do unfortunately.

europe is a bad example for you to use, try almost any middle eastern country. and maybe a few others around the world. their governments use propaganda. and those who understand better are the ones in europe they didnt lose their biggest buildings. they just sit around and sip their tea and watch the news and laugh at america. the problem with america is that it has been ruined by both partys republican and democrat.

So you're saying that your news stations are not machines of propaganda? I have not heard any story told from all sides, not once, in any station, and that includes CNN, NBC, and yes, Fox News.
And have you ever been to Europe? With that stereotype, I'm sure you haven't. Most Europeans actually give a shit about their country AND THE WORLD, including America! Like I said, not all Americans are assholes, but they make up most of them, sad to say.

i never said that my stations werent. and the problem woth europeans is that they only help them selves i will agree that they are doing good over there. except for the no gun thing. and if they really cared for americans then tell me what have they done for us they are the ones who think their better, i wish we were as good off as they are but were not. like i've said before its the fault of democrats and the republicans. im not pointing fingers at one party like the democrats do.

And what has America done for any European country? You say that they only care for themselves, yet you totally do not realize that America, using your perspective, is no better in this.

Obama plans to cut taxes for the small businesses of America, and the middle and lower class. That would help support USA's economy.
He also plans to send troops to Afghanistan, where the TRUE threat has been the entire time. It's getting worse there, and Afghanistan are more susceptible to having WMD's than Iraq ever did in this war.
And Obama wants to unite Americans under one flag, the flag of the UNITED States of America. He, unlike most politicians, are for unity, regardless of differences.

I personally do not think it is "weakness" to want to make informed decisions, more often than not, 2 heads are better than one. War should never be rushed into. And the decision to wage wars should rest on the whims of one individual.

God doesn't belong in government. Our founding fathers wanted freedom OF religion, and also freedom FROM religion. Separation of church and state. Most of our founding fathers weren't even Christian.

The mentioning of our Creator wasn't placed in the Declaration of Independence and on our money for laughs. This country was based on faith in God, but it was also based on reason, common sense and good will toward man. Thank the puritans, evangelicals and protestants for their faith, and thank men like Thomas Paine, Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson for their sensibility. The word "God" does not appear within the text of the Constitution of the United States. The Declaration of Independence is not a legal document; it is not the U.S. Constitution. when it comes to determining what the laws of the United States mean, the only document that matters is the Constitution. The Constitution, a completely secular document, contains no references to God, Jesus or Christianity. It says absolutely nothing about the United States being officially Christian.
