Unfortunately my 3 thursdays of leave means no more garbage trucks which is a shame. My son thoroughly enjoyed them though. We only just caught the second truck last week, as it was a different company doing Parramatta (again). It was WSN, and the driver went a different route, so I was changing a nappy when he entered the street. I only caught the tail end of it, but have put the video up.

It's not actually an Iveco as they didn't start badging the ACCO as an Iveco until about 2003/2004! The ACCO you see in this video has the Iveco Group grille out of an EuroCargo on it!

No, up in Brisbane we got Iveco ACCO's in the middle of 2002. I know about the Eurocargo look grille, but the International ACCO had that same grille for a long time before the Eurocargo came out. The ACCO's that have the "ACCO" badge on the front are Iveco ACCO's. There is no major difference between the two ACCO's, just the engines and some minor differences in the cab.

@huppypuppy - Iveco started badging the ACCO as an Iveco in 2001. Not 2003/2004 as you stated.

Yeah, they sounded really nice with MKIII body, the engine would go into idle when the truck stopped at a bin and when the driver moved the joystick there would be a huge grunt as the engine goes to 850-900RPM while the arm is operating. Some of the nicest sounding trucks were the MKIII's on ACCO's!
