Man Calvin Rogers is one of best of the best Gospel drummers around.... He has played for all the big top dogs u can think of like John P Kee, Israel & New Breed, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, The Clark Sisters, Vashawn Mitchell and ect. And with all of these artistes his licks and chops has never came about the same way on non of the the artist Cd's.. And thats what i like most about him, he always keep if NICE, FRESH and DIFF on every CD..
thats why i dont like when ppl be talkin bout how he dont do nuthin that nobodys seen.... yes the stuff he does is real easy...but the way he place them..and the fact that what he does i wouldnt think of doin even tho i can do it....he's been my favorite drummer for 9 years now..ive seen him Mature into a great drummer...thats why he has recorded wit almost every gospel artist you can thnk of...its not always bout how fast...its whurr u place the fill...sorry so long...had to get that out
