Porque era um grande driblador e carismático. Mas se for comparar futebol por futebol acho q o Pelé não perdia pro Garrincha também não, estão ali muito proximos. Nem Sócrates nem Platini perderam penalti em jogadas que criaram.
O Zico perdeu pq era o melhor. Se não o fosse, outro teria batido e só D--s sabe em que daria. Mas Zico tinha de estar em campo, pois o pênalti saiu de sue primeiro toque na bola, dando passe para o Branco. E com ele em campo, só louco colocaria outro pra bater.
O segundo toque poderia ter sido para as redes.
Se Zico fosse a pessoa errada, estaríamos falando do Telê.

Para brenovisk29 : Quem é bom jogador, não perde penalti, principalmente nas eliminatorias de uma copa. Zico Chutou fraco e no meio do goleiro, chutou pior, que muito jogador amador de primeira viagem. Só sei que esse penalti mal batido, custou a eliminação da copa do Brasil, em 1.986.

Zico perdeu o penalti, em tempo normal. O Penalti foi muito mal cobrado, ele chutou reto a bola, em cima do golero. Deveria ter chutado do canto e com velocidade, aí o golero não pegava

Aliás, uma constante que eu vejo pelo youtube são europeus menosprezando o campeonato brasileiro. Dizem que foi fácil para o Pelé fazer 1000 gols no Brasil ou o Zico virar craque pelo Flamengo.
Acho imbecil pensar dessa maneira, sabendo que todos os jogadores de 58, 62 e 70 jogavam no Brasil. Aquele time desconhecido jamais teria chance de ganhar do poderoso Liverpool. Pois tomaram de 3x0 daquele time que nunca tinham ouvido falar.

Mas como no lance mais bonito do rei (Pelé) a bola não entrou, acho que a falta deste título com a seleção não desmerece o trabalho do Zico.
Sinceramente, não é porque eu sou brasileiro e flamenguista, mas o Flamengo da era Zico, campeão do mundo em cima do poderosíssimo Liverpool foi o melhor time da década de 80, incluindo seleções. O Galinho de Quintino merece respeito.

Companheiro, foi para a torcida do Vasco que Romário disse para levar lenços já que iam chorar antes de um Flax Vasco. Zico além de ser várias vezes artilheiro fazia também artilheiros com passes. Two magic moments of Zico that people who don't know good soccer have to see: 1) vs Italy 1982, his movements to deceive Gentile (grabbing him all the time) and his perfect pass to Sócrates being able to score; 2) vs France 1986, in his first oportunity he created a perfect pass to Branco using the right edge of his right foot (after Zidane, nobody have being able to do that so easily). I'm brazilian. As a matter of fact Argentina wasn't a great team in 86, main reason to say Maradona had the best performance ever. However Zico had no luck in 86. Even physically bad he "created" that penalty after a fantastic long ball to Branco. Later he scored another, Platini missed and unfortunatly Sócrates missed too. How can you be sure that Maradona would beat Brazil? 4 years before, both teams stronger, Zico was great and Brazil won.
