a 72 hour kit is an excellent start, but suppose help isn't on the way? What I'm getting at is that buying a emergency survival kit is a good idea, but preparedness is a way of life, not something that you can buy and forget about. Training and mindset are far more important than gear. I know that's a cliche, but it's true
lol seems like a good idea for those who dont know what they are doing. The problem I have with stuff like this is that they load you up witha bunch of stuff you wouldnt really need, like boat and air pump. Sorry I dont need that shit and I dont need a portable toilet and neither does anyone in my family. What am I going to carry that for?
the "thermal blankets" shown do not keep you warm in freezing weather. ultralightbackpackingonline has more factual information. great links provided. written for backpackers, so find out what experienced backpackers do to be comfortable outdoors. adjust your "wardrobe" accordingly. "camp-out" for practice. civil unrest is a very different problem. get away! hide! wait it out!
lol hang on let me grab my 4 foot long bag on wheels first. while were getting chased down the street during civil unrest "Wait! i need my raft!" lol. no just kidding, but seems a big cumbersome. all my stuff is on a belt. like 6 lbs. so i can run if needed. not a bad idea at all, and for most it will probably seem like "too little" unfortunately
Ingenius!

The raft is for a possible Flood Disaster.
Or Ice rescue of a person,
or a snow slead for gear or wounded......
Deflated works as a liter for carrying a trauma victim,
works as a shelter.....
