Okay, this isn't terrible fan fiction, it's amazingly good fan fiction for spore. It reminds me of this life simulator Creatures. The fans make all sorts of fan fiction!
I love this race, as birds are my favorites, and I think birds are the next closest thing to primates on a race system or such. It's possible they're already sentient.
I might construct my own story! I've had a particular species in mind to take the roll of for a while. Mad scientists with a bent for galactic domination. :d
Yeah! Although it's not clear to me if you can visit those planets in Space stage, or if Galactic Adventures takes place in its own self-contained stage.
A lot of the fun in Spore is the stuff you make up, either the creations themselves, or the stories behind it!
With Spore you can make spaceships, architecture, vehicles, creatures, outfits, music... the only thing missing is a sort of story-creator. Like a built in Word or something.
Hmm...that might be why they delayed it. They're trying to put in as much as they can, to please people as much as they can. Remember, it adds a whole new interface. And they haven't shown anything about beaming down while actually in Space Stage... :D
From what I've heard, they delayed it mostly so they can release it at the same time as Sims 3, in a more profitable part of the year, because their company isn't doing that well.
And since we haven't seen any interaction between the Galactic Adventures and Space Stage, I'm kind of worrying that Galactic Adventures will be sorta more a mini-game entirely separate from the Space Stage...
So, basically, I'm totally going to wait for the reviews before I buy it =/

Yeah, but maybe coraclebird is right. We'll have to wait for the reviews. I certainly never planned on pre-ordering it, but...eh, who knows. I'll just be happy that EA is keeping the Spore vibe alive.
