Indeed. Though this video shows battle scenes that are "glorious" in their respective movies/games and how they are portrayed in their fictional universe. For instance, I would never have put Saving Private Ryan's, Braveheart's or any real conflicts' scenes in this video.

@DJTRANCENDENCE You need to understand history in greater depth. Hitler in WWII, he brought Germany out of the largest finanical crisis the world has ever witnessed. He was the way he was for two reasons:
1 - He became Homeless shortly after Germany surrendered in WWI, after obtaining the rank of Corporal in the German Militry.
2 - While homeless the soliders view was that all the politicians were jews, this caused Hitler to take the same view and resulted later in the genocide after he...

3 - His young life was spent around an abusive father, who was also his uncle, he was a drunk.
4 - He failed Art College for personal reasons, technically he didn't fail, he left.
So when you look at it... What he did in later life is the result of other people influancing him.

@DJTRANCENDENCE The Reichstag didn't vote themselves out, since they used proportional representation and the Nazi Party was the dominant power, Hitler was chancellor. Article 48 stated that during times of need the chancellor could effectively, do what he wished without being required to vote on it. Problem was it didn't state what it defined as "times in need".
No what I'm saying is, his early life wasn't the best and played major factors in choices made when he became Fuhr.

@HiveFleetDerilect Many cultures have held struggle and death in battle as the most glorious deed. This peace we enjoy is strong in providing for human needs, but ultimately, favouring delight and easy living before glory is but a cultural conception. Of course, one could argue that the one's who suffer the most in war are the weak, the innocent. But I wouldn't dismiss all glory from all warfare conclusively.

@UnleashYourButt Their has never been "good" war or "bad" war... Since it's impossible. Take Jona of Arc for the french, she will be considered a national hero. To those in the UK she'd be considered a evil woman who fought back.
Sure you can fight to save people... but in doing so you're killing other people in order to achieve this.
War is generally waged over (in history):
1) Land
2) Reputation
3) Love
4) Views/opinions
5) Religion (Most common, WWII is classed as a religious war)

There is nothing glorious about war, simple as. Those men you described as "evil" are most often fooled into believing they fight for a good cause and usually so are their enemies. Even in WWII, it was all hypocrisy on the Allied side. All Britain and France had ever done before WWII was invade other countries yet when they were invaded themselves, it's wrong. However the purpose of war is another thing.
For instance Vikings belived in die fighting for theyre place in Vlahalla. For them it was a shame to die old and weak in a bed.
Peace is good but the world seems to become to feminine to my taste. Holding hands, dancing in flower fields singing comba ja, lol.
