  • This was moving and timely, even years later. Writing my statement of purpose... any ideas? This was amazing, again. Thank-you!

  • As soon as you said "We cannot accept the fact that (some) million people die of AIDS) I thought to myself "and we can't accept the fact that so many people are uninsured!" I'm glad you said that. Many of your reasons are why I am going to pursue a Master's degree in public health, and I cannot wait! I am in my last semester of undergrad now, and I'm going through the applications process now. Going crazy right now lol but I am so excited to pursue a career in public health! :)

  • She's hot!

  • Stephanie has gone on to work (quite successfully) in International Public Health. Her passion for justice and caring for humanity is reflected not only in this speech but in all her endeavours. From her wildly proud mom who continues to give her books.

  • I like high school cafeterias fuck face

  • What a marvellous speech !! I would love to hear more from her.

  • Great speech! I'm starting my MPH next year...so tired of bedside care. I love the hospital, but it's depressing at times. Since PH is so broad I'm trying to decide what type of PH job I would like.

  • "The last day you have to explain what you are studying in grad' school." Oh so true. Though I never imagined it is so 'unknown' in other countries...

  • fantastic speech, starting my MPH in 6 weeks, can't wait!

  • wow! amazing....sums up why i want to go into Public Health.

  • Words that have been greatly said and presented. Congratulation on your graduation. Hope you have started to make a difference in our lives.

  • thats the best explanation ive ever gotten thanks may be now ill know what to say instead of med tech heheh

  • whats really actually funny in this video outside all of the jokes in her speech...is the fact that shes explaining public health and someone keeps coughing loudly in the audience! LMAooo

  • OMG just what I needed! Really sometimes I dont even like to say what Im going to school for just bc I don't want to explain what PH is. Thanks Steph!

  • Lookin' round the room....I can tell that you, are the most beautiful girl.....in the room.

  • this graduation looks like it's in high school cafeteria

  • It was at the Hillel Center at Tufts University. What's your point?

  • I'm currently a student at St. John's Unver. I was thinking about going to Grad. Sch. to get my MPH. first, and then apply to Med. Sch. I just wanted to know what are the many things you can do with MPH? For some "advisor" it seems like a difficult question to answer...since you already have you degree, maybe you can help me with this question.

    Thanks...

  • My point is that it looks like it's in a high school cafeteria. It wasn't a philospical statement, just an observation. Get over yourself

  • Makes me want to go to Tufts even more now. :)

  • Great speech! She is such a charismatic speaker

  • woo Steph is hot! I hope that wasn't inappropriate, heh. Awesome job though!

  • AWESOME commencement speech! She's beautiful and eloquent (Dr. Seuss quotes were a cute touch)...now, I can't wait to get into a MPH program.

  • I love it!

  • I love it! I'm an undergrad public health major and I constantly get questioned about what it is I study.

  • I'm an undergrad public health major, too and I am constantly asked what it is. Sigh. :) Way to go Stephanie! :)

  • its very funy and educational video I think.

  • Nice!! but add tropical medicine to it!
