hey man, jst use a beard trimmer with no attachment... that's what i do.. leaves a tiny bit of scruff on your face, i like it

But, yeah, it's pretty wicked sweet.
I spent an exchange year there at a japanese University, and it was awesome.
Prepare to stared at, asked random questions (like "how many hamburgers and hot dogs do you eat each day?"--no lie), and take random pictures with people. You'll feel like a zoo animal by the end of your trip.
