  • Dressing up and playing a role is what actors have done for centuries. How is this any different? Although I will say that when a dude grows out their own hair rather than relying on an obviously fake looking wig (or any wig for that matter) that just helps to put the final touches on their costume or role.

  • i think this is awesome. for we all should be able to express who we are and be free to be ourselfs as long as it harms none is all good:-)

  • but why do they talk that way?

  • if these to drag queens or over 21 they should try out for rupauls drag race !!!! season 4

  • im a crossdresser but im not gay people always think im gay but im not and it upsets me

  • ewww women r yucky. Thats why I am a gay male. Eww!!!!! the vagina is gross!!!

the male penis and balls r so much prettier And better =-)

  • these are just drag queens ....... the bottom of the totem pole ....

  • NOT BEING MEAN BUT ARE YOU GAY? JUST WONDERING

  • NOT BEING MEAN BUT ARE YOU GAY? JW

  • if a dude looks pretty like a woman then he's good looking lol i mean the situation cudnt pull that off his big arms and lil ass head

  • some guys look really pretty as women and there isnt anything wrong with it if that's what you want to do

  • When I get married.

I'm going to make my husband dress up as a woman and see if he's prettier than me lol.

I've seen some men look so beautiful as women.

  • @Myrandomnesscat marry me then ;)

  • @Myrandomnesscat he probably is the prettiest person in the world to u, that is probably why u chose him.

  • You say tranny, I say brave.

You say drag, I say suck it.

You say faggot, I say my dad smokes them.

I am not a crossdresser, but I believe in equal rights for all. These people have guts to show their "feminine" side. We all have it to some point, like the hair thing that was mentioned, you go without combing it, some girl will shoot you down. But "not" caring how you look seems to be a sign of masculinity?

(In Britain fag means a smoke, for those who didn't get it)

  • @MonsterA95 I thought itwas some type of ciggarette.

  • @MrInsanity25 It is.

  • If your gonna be a Tranny STOP lookin like a freakin DYKE ! ! !

  • omg, the way hes walking! hahahahahahaha

  • The same problem is in Indonesia, esspecialy at Bali, but i understand because a guide there told me.

Some "men" dont do it for fun, they need so search way to earn money.

That make me sad to hear.

  • Enjoying it? wow they don't need to go as far as dressing and behaving whore-like! Being a girl doesn't mean you wear barely anything and act like a bimbo! This is the one thing I must say I don't like about this.

  • @TellsHowItIs I actually agree. I'm a crossdresser, but I'd prefer to look good, and keep it low-key. Not wear really trashy glam crap, and exhibit for an audience. If you're in front of an audience, at least have the decency to look like a real woman, or you're insulting them. And I happen to like women.

  • @Anon5241 Great. It's nice to hear from people who see and do things differently and I agree with everything you said. Thanx alot for responding, you sound like a really nice, well rounded, decent person :)

  • go to my channel to see me go from male to female in 30 seconds!

  • i am not gay either but i love to crossdress sometimes in private sometimes in public it is very fun

  • I seriously like the boy with the pink cute shirt!

  • im srry i had to laugh at 3:32

but i think this is cool :D

  • Hi I fell into this as I was curious but not even a quarter into this film, I have to say that I am a little suprised but please don't get me wrong here...I am an open minded individual so lets not be to quick to press the remove button (author) shall we?? Listen to what a respectable hetero (thanks andreaburnett) thinks about this... No different than ALL the others you say??? Well your wrong.... Hmmm go on... Well, what I was going to say is that I think wearing high heels has got to hurt

  • When I am at home, hanging out in pj's or jeans I don't feel very feminine. I feel more like a Mom Blob. When I get my make up on, hair curled and set, and dressed up then everything about my persona changes. I feel great, more sexual, flirty, and lighter almost like I can do anything and life isn't so serious. I can see the allure in doing drag, because as a woman, even my personality changes like I am playing a part too. So you go girls!

  • I am a hetero woman, and even I feel more powerful, sexual, beautiful, and strong when I get dressed up with make up on. I can see why it's so alluring to so many. It brings out my femininity and self confidance, as if I have an alter ego. When I am all done up to go out, my posture is better, my self confidence rises, and I am very aware of my femininity. I also pay more attention to others around me and how they react to my beauty.

  • If you're passing well you also have the awesome ability to make everyone question themselves. Catch a straight 'tough guy' taking a second look at you and yell out heyyyy in your manliest voice :D. Best expressions evarrrrrrr

  • Drag is such an addiction, i look great as a male but my female features are amazing. It gets so consuming starting to buy more female stuff, collecting wigs... more and more often in drag. I even dressed my str8 acting ex up in drag, the next day he wanted to do it again! Said he felt powerful. No matter who you are...its SUCH an amazing experience.

  • I am not gay but I am a crossdresser in private

  • more power to ya : )

  • @4343fonzie

do you do it because you look good in woman's clothes?

    Im not mocking you,

    just asking

  • i like turtles

  • Oh what a feeling !!!!

  • no all transgender or crossdressers are gay you know theyare mostly straight ppl. i'm transgender women and that for most ppl are M to F male to female. and i like this video so much. it rocks. :D

  • Once a regular guy cross dresses , there's no going back, they get hooked into taking it much further.

  • @ssnader I think it comes from a root of being human, and having to deny that element of self, trying to adapt to a gender segregated world, kind of like being bi-racial or multiracial trying to live in a racially segregated world.

  • i like this song it dances with my soul

  • I am not gay but I am a crossdresser in private I want to but dont know how to tell ma and pa

  • Telling ma or pa wont as bad as telling you girlfriend or wife. Unless you wanna crossdress 24 hrs a day in which case you're a transexual you dont need to tell them if you do it occassionally. No need to freak them out about a hobby you have.

  • @ssnader I disagree. This kind of secret will come back and bite u, especially if ur spouse is not accepting of it. Might as well be open about it from the start, like other parts of history, when marrying someone.

  • oh damn. they look like regular guys before messing themselves with make up. Shit that must be horrible for them with all that double gender thing or "double personality" i'd say.

  • Just for ignorant commenters: Drag queens are not crossdressers or transgender. It is something completely different and is done for entertainment only.

  • I used to live in New Orleans and worked in a club on Bourbon street, and I assure the drag queens were gay!

  • pretty girls

  • @newtonmeters: Wow, that's so NOT alike! Pedophiles are criminals by laws.

Being ourselves (be it drag queen, crossdresser, transgender, etc.) does not harm anyone. Why wouldn't a man be able to dress like a woman? What's wrong with that? People are born with an identity and a sexuality. They can't change it! If they feel like they have to do it, they will! The only thing is that it is NOT ILLEGAL! Well, except if you live in a stupid closed-minded country...

  • what the song laying could some one tell me please

  • The song playing at the very beginning is Let Go by Frou Frou - it's the first track on the Details album. The girl singing it is Imogen Heap

  • nic223344, they are not freaks. The fact that you would degrade these people for acting on their desires upsets me. It reminds me that we live in an ignorant, heterornormative, prejudice world that doesn't understand that gender and sexuality is fluid. These people are brave to protest your intolerant views of cross dressing, transgenderism and rigid gender roles.

  • no, but the point is that they're not doing anyone harm, isn't it?

Are two men in dresses harming you or anyone else for that matter?

  • Exactly. I also love the point made by the woman in this clip...she said when women dress in male clothing people have no reaction but if a man dresses in womans clothing there is a big reaction. It is very much a taught societal way of how men and women are "suppose" to be. If a football coach told his team they are playing like girls, it would be considered an insult. It is the attitude that men are not to be feminine and if they are in any way it is "wrong". It is all so stupid

  • badone, you nailed it! females have SO much more freedom especially expression. There is so much gender inequality that we don't even notice until someone points it out. Females are treated almost like they were sacred or something.

  • I've been saying that for decades! Even the girl in the video says it, "I'm a crossdresser, I do it every day." Girls have been crossdressing IN PUBLIC for at least 80 years, now and NO ONE says a WORD about it!! But if a guy even wears clear nail polish on one nail, let's say he's doing it to keep a splitting nail from getting worse, he's IMMEDIATELY pegged as being gay, but, in the meantime, being gay has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with crossdressing or being transgendered! Land of the free? Lol

  • @RedVynil the world is evolving to free males from the bandage of slavery of gender segragation. In the USA, as little as 50 years or so ago, it was actually much worse, males could be arraested and jailed for "crossdressing" in public. In some cities they actually wrote up municipal codes that even listed it to be illegal to wear 2 or more articles of clothing of the opposite sex. This rule essentially only applied to males, and i think it ties into the "slave community" mentality

  • @upcycle Yes, I know! And what's really strange about this is that there were COUNTLESS movies & t.v. shows of that era, and before (as well as LONG since) that openly portray men dressed as women!! "Some Like It Hot" was the first to spring to mind!! Then we have Lucy, who dressed up like a guy in every other episode of every show she ever did!! THAT was okay!! But if Ralph Cramdon even so much as had a pair of Alice's panties accidentally stuffed in his pocket, the fag flag would fly high!!!

  • @lochinvar00465 I think this is evolving more a more to a gender free (freedom) liberated place. At this point, one root that seems 2b creating bit of obstacle is gender segregated language with it's gender segregating grammatical rules (pronouns), which force writer/speaker to think in terms of gender segregation at all times. This too is changing as more and more intellectuals are looking at this and swaying public opinion that gender segregation, just as racial segregation must be dissolved

  • @upcycle "This too is changing as more and more intellectuals are looking at this and swaying public opinion that gender segregation, just as racial segregation must be dissolved"

How true. And it is happening even if slow. Where I work, the dress code is written gender neutral. By this code, a man could wear a skirt as long as it conforms to the cut and color guidelines. Haven't seen this happen, but IF it did, management have to accept it even if they didn't like it..

  • ...dressing up in drag dont hurt no body ..that is the differance >.>

  • you lot got funny words

  • @samykens people make me sick to my stomach the way they act about people who are different from themselves....

  • @samykens I agree don't judge people. everyone has thier own choice how to live. I don't know what heterornormative means but by grammer guessing I suspect it'ssomething like homophobia ina way.

  • @samykens i agree with you 100 %

  • Is this like an Independent Documentary or for a film school? Either which way it's absolutely stellar~ It get's points for good editing and technical work and even more points for social intrigue!

  • im loving this! i love everything in respect to this theme and the guys rally made it real good (ok i just said the word twice)

  • Okay,so at first i thought gay/lesbian/bi/transexuality was all messed up.because i am a christian.but then i met a guy that is gay and now me and him are like bestfriends.

  • two years ago I met a transgender, I didnt know what to expect, but i am a open person, so accepting her was not a problem now she is my best friend, even thou i know she was born a man, she is my best friend and always will be thanks for showing these films maybe more people will accept them than hurt them

  • Are these people claiming to be biologically wired to want to put on make up and bras, fake eyelashes and dress in short shorts?

It's a lot to do with culture and art. I wouldn't attribute it to heredity.

Transvestites are definitely different from children with gender identity disorder. I think these guys are tranny. People keep commenting on how they applaud these guys, but it's different.

  • It takes lots of courage to do what you do. I applaud you all. You are who you are inside and out, dont let anyone take that away from you! :)

  • I respect them as well. I have watched several documentaries about this stuff. Must be difficult being a child and feelin like you should be the opposite gender but i have to ask, why do these people seem to dress so promiscuously in this documentary? I know this is def not the case with all people like that but i want to know why they dress like that.

  • i really respect those people for doing it. it must be really difficult

  • There really are people born with the mind/brain of one sex, and the body of the other.

So respect them. They aren't freaks, they really suffer, and changing gender physically has got to be the hardest thing to do - it is not a fetish.

From a friend who is in med school

  • PERFECT!

  • i would just call these gay drag queens

  • but y do they dress like whores?

  • these people look like drag queens, not transsexuals to me.

  • just met a guy, shud say girl cuz transgendered hate wen u dont recognise them as they want to be. be interesting filming them soon

  • Support. If people had a choice, would they choose a life that is so hard! Keep living your life sweetie

  • In China, Falun Gong members are routinely tortured in China, yet they continue to CHOOSE to live as a follower of their faith.

In China, Christians are routinely tortured as well, and yet they CHOOSE to live as a follower of their faith.

Women who do exotic dancing sometimes get heavy shit for their lifestyle, but they still CHOOSE to live it.

Just because something is hard doesn't mean someone didn't choose it. So, yeah...people who DO have choices pick the harder life all the time.

  • I was referring to someones biological build-up. Just like you and I can not choose our X or Y chromosome. Some people are born with XXY and such. Most people have a strong gender identity by the age of 2 years.

  • Of course someone can't choose their biological make-up. But...a sociopath is sometimes biologically so...doesn't mean the only career choice they have is 'creepy murdering freako'.

I'm only saying all this because it annoys me to listen to people blame their being gay on genetics, as though they feel they have to justify it for it to be acceptable. Who gives a fuck WHY you're gay or trans or whatever?

  • If people don't accept you for the way you present yourself, you don't owe explanations to them. I'm a Christian, but I don't have to prove that my faith is true for me to believe it and live it out, do I?

Also...I'm a big woman. I have doctors tell me I'm overweight and then ask me why I stay big. Do I try and justify my desire to be a big woman-on purpose because I LOVE IT-by saying its because of my genes? I could, sure, but why? I like who I am, and that's reason enough.

    Period.

  • So, it might sound like a dickish thing to say but:

The biological make-up argument is stupid. That argument isn't needed. EVER.

'This is who I am. I'm not changing for you or anyone else unless I WANT to. It doesn't matter WHY I live how I live. Either get over it or go the fuck away."

Those words are the only ones that matter. So I'm saying...don't hide behind justifications, true or untrue. (I'm not making any sort of judgment because its not my business.)

  • lol, these are my friends. i cant believe it - found this viddy thru a person who subscribed to a viddy i made. aint that fate.

  • european guys are tall and have long face,, they look very masculine.. Asian(chinese/korean/japanese) guys look very feminine cos they have round face and cheeks are soft....

u cross dressed but U walk soo uncomfortably in those heels,, it was soo funny.and those eyelish were too much.. looking very fake... but yeah u have guts to do that..just hats off to u guys for being so dareing..

  • woah dude. ur like a perfectly normal guy

  • Other than the eyelashes, he looks pretty good.

  • Ops... its all too deep for me.

  • love trans

  • nice.

  • wtf

  • u're really special :P

    get a life

  • ...wtf was that. Seriously.

  • they are not dressing as 'females' but as overly feminine women , i mean i dont even dress like that! .... being female doesnt mean heals and long hair! wtf!!!!wtf! this makes me so angry... we dont have to even dress that different at all!!! your body is just a little different for different functions...but society fucks it up so much that this happens...gesus... i mean if they want to dress like whores let them but same with chicks who dress as whores, same story

  • There are girls who dress like that. And not all transgenders dress like the stereotyped fuck up of society.

  • learn to walk in heels! you look like a man by far if you can't!

  • wow, who is the asian girl in the video?

  • I have a wig that looks JUST like that.

  • my thing is i can pull off the clothes and all that i just need makeup tips lol i have the body just need help with the face

  • That's old testament not new testament.

  • Matthew 5:17

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law of Moses or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them."

    That proves you are wrong

  • Here's a thought - both are lies? Can we all shut up now?

  • hahahhahahaha, you;re so lost.

  • LULZ! Clothes are unnatural in themselves. They have to be produced. They don't just appear out of the ground or grown fully formed on trees.

  • the only way this society will progress is if people stop critisizing the unique people in the world and just start living there lives.

  • it's a sin to dress in clothes? i don't understand i thought you christians believed in clothes

  • LOL!!!!!

  • I sseriously thought that black guy was a complete CHICK!! DAMN YOU ARE HOT AS A GIRL!

    AND PUT ON L;IPSTICK

    cause ITS TOTALLLY SEXY

  • Good documentary, adds a bit of insight into what goes on in the world, how these guys feel that they can best express themselves, and portray what they want the world to see them as. I can empathise with their story, though I'm not man enough to do what they did! Too old for that sh1t...& if I did I'd rather be a cute lesbian ;-).

It's sad to see so many smarmy comments from a minority that are vying for a verbal sh@gging... cos they aren't having any luck with anyone... or anything else...

  • doesn't matter, the guys are hot as guys anyway

  • They are hott as guys and pretty as woman! I'm gay and in love with MEN!

  • Mother loves you.

    Come visit me soon.

  • Real love takes courage.

  • He's beautiful.

  • what does the black guy do for boobs

  • what do they do for boobs

  • You go girls!! I love Drag Queens!

  • WHY!!!

  • I am straight. And to be honest.....There are men or females that change there apperances by changing their genders and even if they don't go though the whole stages of it, some look pretty nice and you don't even know their real gender unless they tell you.

  • Yes I am REAL STRAIGHT......I just don't care what people do in this world as long as it don't envolve me and my child in it.

  • omg, youre so beautiful , if i were there , and we were both dressed like boys(im a boy),ill be with u ,like everyday...

  • the one with the pink shirt , is soo damn hot..as a boy!!! , dont change!! , i wanna see u as a boy , ur really cute

  • woah! that dude actually got hot! 0_o

  • these girls/boys are so beautiful!

  • Im proud of whoever these men are.. I believe they are strong. And for those who think it;s gross or whatever, go shove your "bling bling" down your throat. They do what they feel is right for them.. While so many people do what they feel is cool. Being yourself is the greatest thing you can do. So let them be.

  • and yet here you are watching it...fucking idiot. go back to jacking of to national geographic

  • yup, continue to show the world what a homophobic, asshole, moron that you are. A REAL staright man isnt afraid of a gay man but knows who his idenity is. You are an insult to all REAL straight men and the only reason your homophobic is cause you wish you were gay but dont have the balls to come out of the closet.
