You are right there is debate over the politics, solutions, what do we do about it details but there is a scientific consensus on anthropogenic climate change. The consensus is that climate change is happening and it is anthropogenic meaning its due to human activity mostly CO2. The science behind CO2 traping heat and warming our earth has been understood for a long time and now the data and emperical evidence is there to back it up.

The global warming is the result of the 19th century mechanistic philosophy, which believes that nature is just a deposit or molecules, and that we, the superior humans, can do anything we want.

The carbon credit trade is most arrogant scam yet. Richard Branson got fawning PR for buying the right to pollute while profiting but paying 'carbon taxes' to be used to coerce lesser mortals! Please! Polluters stealing land & life from humans & wildlife must have costs built directly into a product before it is sold (per RP).
