Its just like i was trying to give my salamence sp attack evs so i fought loads of kadabras and when i leveled up i got +21 defense

Ok so i am ev training for the first time.I am doing it with a Nindoran/Nidorino/Nidoking i started out fainting ekans for attack then when my Nindoran evolved i moved on to goldeen but here is the problem MY NIDORINO only gets +2 or +3 to attack and the best i EVER got was +5 WHAT IZ WRONG!!! he has power item for attack but no pokerus so if i faint 20 goldeen plus power item that should be 100 evs but it is still +2 PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

u get a pikachu from fr/lg from viridian forest at lvl 3 and use stone on it.

this is also how u can get a lvl 3 electrode by trading a guy who want a raichu and he'll give a electrode in return.

ummm let me clarify everything....if you Ev train then you are usually already a pro. you get more stat points than usual since 4 effort points in one stat = 1 extra stat point but one stat can only have 255 max effort points and in total only 2 stats can be maxed out since 1 pokemon can have only 510 points. :)

It is the stat points that ur pokemon gains each time it lvls up.EV training means u train a stat points so that it becomes higher than average, thus making ur pokemon stronger.

the idea is that you get a friend to make a base somewhere and put a bunch of lower level pokemon that give a lot of evs (of the same type) into their party then mix records with you

when you do that you can battle them once a day and boost that stat

you should have one base for each stat.

ummm gameshark IS hacking. If you're running the game through anything else than just your gameboy, you're hacking. including action replay and gameshark. And while this isn't Pearl or Diamond, if you're caught with anything hacked on wifi battle you're usually banned from the boards that set up battles and you'll have to find another... which means banning again. Not saying he did hack, i dont really know for sure, i mean, its POSSIBLE to get 99 rare candies, just not probable.

srry didnt no what evment then to well did but been a longtime since i cared......ev is effort value its when u train on certian pokemon that give u a bossted stat when u lvl up...for exsample ratata gives bonus speed points so if u kill a bunch and lvl up u will get a higher speed.for exsample say u normally gte 10 speed and then u kill 10 ratata's u get 15 or 20 instead of the normal 10...ill get u the link to the vid that exsplains it better

this is ev training. if u wanted to train ur mewtwo in sp atk then u could fight lots of charizards and wen it grew a level it would gain alot more points than usual. for more detailed info look on google for which pokemon are best trained in which stats. everyone knows that training mewtwo in attack would be rubbish though!
