What are you planning on studying at university? It's obvious you should study =) Try to focus on your GCSE cause it really does condition your future!
The best way to learn is to teach others what you have learned, so why not merge both options and make a short video every week summing up what you've learned by teaching us the key points 8-)
Good luck with the GCsSE! I did mine last year. They tell you that they're all important and difficult, then you get in the exam room and realise that you've been horribly deceived, and could probably pass were you simply to vomit on the paper. So don't fret!
school work (course work) comes first before having fun making videos or anything else...
hope you do well with studying and taking your exams...i will look forward to any video you make...i won't leave...i am one person/fan you can count on...
I will stay a subscriber, good luck with your tests. They sound similar to either high school exit examinations (they have those in California, at least) or Scholastic Aptitude Tests (S.A.T.s) here in the Untied States (the former is to graduate high school, the latter is for colleges to gauge your intelligence). Regardless, I'm glad that your education is taking a priority here. Good luck!
Chris, you have different names for things over there, (or perhaps we have different names for them over here?) Nevermind...
Anyway, you've now committed yourself to passing the exams so as to have a future that includes a job that will pay the cost of repairing those kitchen scales you just destroyed. The rest of us will simply have to sit here, bored and lonely, waiting for your triumphant return with your GCs of SE, and perhaps a video or two to ease our suffering. We'll try to endure. :-)
I hear about exams like the GCSE's in England and the Abitür in Germany and it kind of makes me feel grateful for the American educational system. The ACT and the SAT are a cakewalk compared to exams our neighbors have to go through, and even if we don't do well in our exams at least we can still pursue whatever we want to do in life and the government doesn't decide for us. The best of luck for you, Chris. I certainly hope you do well.
Hi, Chris. School should come first. Best wishes to you on your exams. I look forward to your vids when you return. Also, I agree with you about the G.C's S.E. That sounds better, given what they stand for. ~ Nice boffin-like experiment there. :p :)
Chris, great vid. Your humor is unequalled. Even 5 second "hello" videos would be welcomed. But thanks for showing up. Some vloggers disappear with no explanation. Does anyone know what happened to chubbster?
GCSE(s) are fun! And quite easy compared to A levels... But then it gets easier from there. University is not very challenging. Or perhaps that's just my University... Maybe I should've worked harder at GCSE(s)... :/
Good luck with your GCsSE, Chris. I understand that you would like to pack in as much revision as possible before May. I tried doing that when I was doing my GCsSE. I ended up revising about a week before them but it wasn't all that bad. Don't worry too much (y'know, if you were thinking of worrying), you seem like a bright lad, you'll whizz through them. Etc.
Chris, the "experiment" was hilarious! While the US educational system has some very serious problems, one of its best features is that you don't get locked into a major/career at such a young age as in the UK system. Asking someone to plan their whole future at age 15-16 isn't very realistic. Good luck on the exams. Your RABID FANS will be waiting...
As someone who went school in Britain, then to a US University, I tend to agree. I did however get a full semester's credit upon entering University, based on my A Level scores.
Study away Chris, and stop reading comments on YT.
you have 23 GCSEs???
I only have 11, two of which are re-sits...
that doesn't make ANY sense at all...
