Actually Bush began the bailouts. His bailout money disappeared and still hasn't been fully accounted for. One final payouts for those who funded his campaigns and got him in office. The second bailout issued by Obama actually did what the first one should have done. So once again we can thank Bush for around half of our new deficit.
