you've inspired me to make the switch. and im going to try to convince my friend to as well. how do you play manual vs manual? or filter search for all manual controls?

@gza2k7 After you select your team you have the four options: Search, Team Management, Online Settings, Xbox 360 Controller. Click online settings and it will take you to above the teamsheet. Then you can change the controls tab to any or manual. Putting it at manual give you a manual vs manual match

You mention that manual is almost a hinderance to you not winning the game, however because your using Manual controls you are creating far more clear cut chances than you would on assisted and I think thats key to the movement. Manual allows you to attack in more ways with more variety. Getting it forwards quickly and hammering 1-2's can make your play predictable...

Man, you've got a really bright future in youtube if you keep up with this work, Reminds me of Ksiolajidebt days before he dedicated more to the humor rather than fifa. Hope someday EA makes a more "manualish" gameplay, in which people with REAL talent triumph, and not those pricks who just use real madrid with ridiculous custom tactics that make the game unreal.

I Love manual controls. They're so much nicer to use once you get accustomed to them. I still have crossing and shots on semi though. For now anyway.

@Ashby2508 I like the first sentence. I like the second sentence. The third sentence makes me sad. The fourth sentence gives me hope.

Make the switch. You know you want to. Best thing to do: Swap to full manual in the cup and play other manual players. Cup matches aren't logged in your Head2Head ranking so it doesn't matter if you lose and it gives you a chance to see what you think of full manual =)

I did use to play on full manual I made the full switch but then changed those two back as I couldn't get one cross in and hit the post to many times. I think they should have manual only controls. When you play most games there is very little help, why should FIFA be different?

@sokker80ii My shooting is never normally this bad. It was just when I did these couple of games against assisted players where it started going horribly wrong haha. Check my goal compilations out if you have a chance, proof is there I am capable of not f-ing up 90% of my chances =D

@FluorescentFIFA Try and aim at goal as if a team mate is standing next to the keeper. If you can pass, odds are you can shoot too.

Hey man, it's not ALL about winning - i'm sure you had a much better time playing the damn game knowing that it was "all my own work'! Recently started using the Mexican spanish commentary team who shout "Arsehole, arsehole, arsehole, arsehole...ARSEHOLE!!!" every couple of goals. It hasn't improved my gameplay but it makes losing less bitter. More vids please!

I think it would be helpful do a video about the things you CAN do on manual that you can't on assisted or semi, such as shooting with the pass button to slot the ball under the keeper, or being able to play a through ball into space on the wings with either the A, X, or Y buttons.

Even though I still suck at this game, at least on full manual I have the piece of mind of being in total control. I was so tired of yelling THATS NOT WHERE I WAS F*****G PASSING THE BALL!!! at the TV.

One thing I am hoping to possibly do further down the line is a set of tutorials which will include things like those that you mention, but I suppose there is no harm in talking about them in an upcoming episode. explained some of the problems I have with online matches perfectly. As soon as an assisted player gets a hint of space outside of the box they all go for the finesse shot. It gets to be very annoying. Also, the ping pong play that the majority of them play is very frustrating since it was supposed to be eliminated since 11. And lastly the clearances followed by a header and they are free. Anyways, good play and it was obvious you should have won

I don't no why, but its easier for me to play against assisted then manual players xD. Assisted players plays like they are blind or something.

@milosztor The style of defending needed is different between assisted and manual. Since nobody on assisted ever plays against anyone playing manual, they find it very difficult to defend against if you are good at it. But as you see above, they can still score bulls*** lucky goals out of nowhere which makes them annoying to play against =)

Best video so far, 1-2 goal is absolutely pathetic. You are doing an amazing work (brilliant edit by the way), if this doesn't convince assisted players to play manual, there is nothing more you can do.

Sure I can, I can use manual and actually beat them proving what manual controls can really achieve. Maybe I manage to beat someone in the next episode... maybe not xD

But thank you very much for the kind comments again. I remember thinking at the time that his second goal wasn't that bad but when I watched it back again I realised how stupid it was. Though his first goal was equally annoying...

What EA really needs to do is give people a reason to use Manual Controls. If they gave an XP boost for using manual controls that would be a start to giving people a reason to try it. But as it is now, most will take the easy way out with assisted controls.

Im liking this series, i hope more assisted users see this and at least give Manual a try. I might do something similar to this to make people more aware of Manual Fifa
