The first few seconds of this video were awkward; just Robin doing his usual stage-hogging thing, but somehow it did seem to spur the other guys on to greater comedy heights. I don't recall them ever producing so many inspired bits in such a short span of time. There're usually more gags that fall flat but most everything here was amazing stuff. The 'Entertainer at a Funeral' and 'Carol Channing's Famous Roles' were among the funniest things I ever saw on this show.

The amazing thing about Robin isn't so much his sheer comedic brilliance and unique style, it's the way he seems to make everyone AROUND him rise to higher levels. I've never seen the guys have THIS much fun and energy, and it really seems Robin brought out the best in all their talents, just by his presence and being who he is.
