Ugh, what a shame about the lack of bass. The X41's have some of the weakest bass I've ever experienced in a set of cans. To think that the A40's have even less bass is just sad.

Sure the sennheisers are good, but if they we really as good as you say, then why are they not the official headset of mlg? @fuzzyse23 Yes they are, the different kinds are just different color styles, such as SR3, is purple and some other color, and bxr is red, blue, and green, astro is black and white, and MLG is also black and white, and don't know about playground, (colorwise.)

The astro a40 headset comes with the headset only.

@triplehfan619 Depends on the model. The lowest model Tritton's are better than the lowest model TurtleBeach's. But I wouldn't bash on either. I have Turtlebeach X11's and Tritton AX720's. The X11's were more comfortable and personally I thought that the sound quality was just alittle better. It sounded more..natural to me. The 720's were more favored to me tho. Either way opinions are opinions so think what you wish :)

@ItzImprobable well im saying with my experience. turtle beaches break to easily for me and are to flimsy. the trittons on the other hand are sturdy and they were comfortable for me. the tbs hurt my ears after several hours. but now i moved on and i have astro a40s :)

My dog sat on them -_- Shes a 90 pound rotty xD and they didn't crack and they still worked! SOOO i trust them. But, i'm with you I got the A40's for xmas :D even though there not here yet.... :(

Having trouble picking between this one and the wireless version. This one has fewer wires than my Tritton Ax Pro and looks easier to use. But the added benefit of wireless seems nice even though it's still wired from the mixamp to the headset and xbox controller, only wireless from the transmitter connected to the xbox.
