I am trying to become a proffesional golfer. And these videos help keep me on track so much. I know these are basketball videos but it motivates me just to be the best at whatever i try to do. People tell me everyday "oh youre never going to make it" and "Who do you think you are tiger woods?" and i just look at them and smile, because they dont know that their words are what fuels me. MJ played in an era where hand-checking is legal. Kobe has played mostly in an era where it is a foul if you hand-check. Again, I never said Kobe is better than MJ, I am just saying that he can do anything that MJ could. Maybe not on as a consistent basis though. Saying otherwise is just ignorant and bias.

I always hated Jordan and the Bulls, because they kept beating the teams I really wanted to win. He was the most amazing playoff performer of all time, nobody comes close. For example, compared to Jordan Kobe has done NOTHING during playoff time, absolutely nothing.
Even though MJ won all those titles, he was even better when the Bulls sucked.He did it all by himself, amazing player.

By the end of Lebron and Kobe's career, they will deserve to be right next to him but will never deserve the recognition. MJ will always be the GOAT simply because he is MJ. He always disappears in big games. MJ might have missed a ton of shots, but during playoff time he dominated like nobody else before him, or after him.

This is because now, those players from past era are legends in the game while these players are still playing. It feels tough to compare legends to people who aren't legends - yet. Howard is more athletic than all of them but not even close when it comes to skill and post moves.
Really with the mid-range J? Most of Kobe's game is mid range. He's just as good as anybody from 15 ft.

Every time I watch this, it always makes me think. Jordan would have never joined the Pistons, or the Celtics, or any other team that possibly posed a minor threat back then. He was too busy being the best damn competitor he could be.
