hello, i have a few questions about this game. (if its in the video im sorry, i find 15 min very long)

1.can you have childern? and how many

2.can you buy property. furniture and other house accesories?

i hope i get this game for x-mas! though i do have a question: u did mention that u can pass on ur finances and everything down to your child, but does your original character eventually die and if you don't have a child to pass it down to your game resets? or does the character never age? thanks!

this is an okay game i think...but i will try to test it out once i get it :P.......im saven money,but idk if i want it or not...?my sis is 18 and she....plays....harvest moon n animal crossing o.o......but this is a good vid to demonstrate it out :).....

Haha. Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing is a universal age playing game xD If they still make Harvest moon games till im 18 I'll play it then too!

actually you can look around using the down button on the control pad, and pointing at the screen moving the little icon around, although when you let go of it, it just goes right back to the regular camera mode

EXCELLENT review! You covered pretty much everything, but I must note that while when you are using the wiimote + nunchuck, you can always use the classic controllers to disable the motion controls. :)

@pokemonzrpg Do you have to have the actual classic controller, or can you use a gamecube controller like in Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn and in some of the virtual console games? I don't think I want to buy a classic controller for just this game since most say the wiimote controls are crappy.

@TheDestinyIslander Hmm... I'm not too sure on that one. I never tried it, but the back of the box says classic controller and that is what I used. It doesn't say anything about the GameCube controller, though.

the only thing I dont like is the way your charater walks and runs,that is the only thing that and the loading screens are the only thing that naggs me,the walk and run is kinda gay,BUT im not saying i hate the game if only they improved on that and what you said the game would be better (but with simi better grafics)

i do not agree i think this game should of gotten more credit like new animals like silkworms and ostrages this in my opinion was the best harvest moon game i have ever played

I like this game but hated the load screens. Also, this game does not work well for me with the Wii remote controller. I use the classic controller and it works fine for me. I hope that HM: Animal Parade allows for classic controller use.

Thanks for the review. I'm torn between downloading the SNES version or buying this one (I found it for $15 before shipping and tax)

What would you suggest? If you want to make a double suggestion, which HM gamecube would you suggest? I'm a girl but I don't mind not having a sex choice.

the snes version was brilliant, the ps1 version was my favourite, the 1st gamecube one was great but started to get too complicated and had so much choice it was kinda overwhelming and magical melody was so awful, just bloody awful. I hope this one does actually please me otherwise It probably wont ever be the same again

Someone decided for me and picked Magical Melody. I was going to rent ToT but none of video stores had it.

I'll play Magical Melody until Animal Parade comes out.

@SoubiLover That's what I did. I plaed magical melody, then went straight to animal parade. I never played ToT, but I'm not disapointed because animal parade i soo much better in my opinion.
