How come real combat records do not count as a factor in determining the order of the list? The higher up the list, the shorter the combat records the aircrafts have leading to a jet that is publicly untested in combat.

An F-15 was shot out of the sky over the so called "no-fly zone" over Lybian airspace on the 21-03-2011. They are old and out-dated and are clearly vunerable to average SAM weaponry.

@kevyL1 That doesn't say it's clearly vulnerable to anything. If it was doing something that would put it at a lower altitude, then of course it would be vulnerable. And "average SAM weaponry" is still fairly effective, that's why it's used so much.

@ldc775775 Yes, i'd say so. The one at my school is from Navy. Any military experience from high school is a good start :)

You can also fly jets in the navy.

Find out more about the rotc offered at school and talk to the guy or lady in charge of that, and tell what your intreasted in.
