I was disappointed with my first My Glam bag. Nothing was high end brands and after taking the survey on their website that asked what was your favorites such as Nars, Urban Decay, Tart, etc. I thought I'd be receiving high end products. Wrong! Don't get duked. I bet half of this stuff is going to be junk.
This is for anyone who is suscribed to myglam. After receiving the shipment email, how long did it take for you to receive the bag? My shipment email says that the bag was shipped Jan 14 and I have not received it. The tracking number is no use. Maybe Im just impatient. Just wondering how long it took to receive your glambag. Help!! :(

Me&my daughter both get the glambags so if we wanna swap we can =) Cool huh? So far you got the BEST nail color I've seen I got a black matte which I gave to my daughter. I was wondering about the conceler & if the darker skinned people were gonna be able to use it. I do think they should have thrown in a darker shad for you since the did do a Q & A on us all. I hope you can find a great use for it tho =) I'm on day 2 of my WEN & love it! The longer you message the WEN in the more it tingles=)
@ohpineapples I actually use the concealer under my eyes and brows :) I have to give the WEB another shot. My hair may have been too much for it the day I tried it lol
I signed up, and I specifically asked if they will have make-up geared towards darker skin tones. I got a vague answer from one of the consultants. I hope I don't get light make-up for my very dark skin every month.
@vragler2 hmm that's no good. I know this month they offered a shadow in addition to the concealer. I think it would be smart to offer the alternate product to those who don't fall within the skin tone range for the face product.
please post a video if the products worked well on your hair and face. i was thinking about joining myglam but im concerned that i won't be able to wear/use some of the products since i'm african american and myglam is probably more so geared to people with lighter complexions. :)
dcutie101 But I think she shouldn't have to, I mean she paid the money like everyone else she should be able to get a skin tone makeup that's in her color. By sending that product that means this is more leaned towards whites instead of ALL people.
@MissNaturalGirl04 In a perfect world there would be a monthly beauty bag/box for women of color...but so far nada for us. I don't think MyGlam is intentionally singling out a race. Moreso targeting products that cater to the majority of their subscribers. I do think alternate products should be offered though if your skin tone clearly doesn't fit within the median shade.
my aunt used to be a beauty consultant for clinique and she was always telling me about people returning/exchanging their products, regardless of whether or not their used or they have a receipt and that the make up stores are REQUIRED to make the exchange.
so maybe you could go to a sephora or ulta or something and say you got the sheercover concealer as a gift in the wrong shade and want to exchange it? dunno if that would work since it doesn't have a barcode, but maybe worth a try?
you could also mix some from the darker side of the duo with a few drops of your own concealer or foundation and see how that works.. the sheercover has a really good consistency and goes on smoothly so you could still get use of it
