Wow....sad news indeed. My daughter had just seen "Storm Boy" at her school two days ago. Now I see this, albeit a year late.

I've always loved pelicans (especially the brown pelicans near me in Louisiana). So sorry for your loss.

He had a good life at the Adelaide Zoo, where he was a true star every day, like all the other animals and staff there.
