Why would you upgrade it???....!!!!! There is no downgrader for any version above 3.51, the only thing that works for versions above 3.XX is the pandora battery... but im not sure if that works on version 4.XX. So your only hope is to use a pandora battery and see if that works, if you dont know what that is, just type it into google, you will get many descriptions.

Thats not true, just open your memory card and store the save game files, then you can paste them back when youre done.... not that hard, and everything stays the same as it was.

You need a tool battery, AKA "Pandora's Battery" and "Magic Memory Stick", which is a normal memory stick formatted with a particular program. This combination sends your PSP into service mode allowing you to access the internals and flash it with whatever firmware you please.

It's all too complicated. Basically there's a catch. In order to play it on a PSP Slim you need custom firmware. And in order the get custom firmware on the PSP Slim you need a fat PSP. It's all too inconvient.
