I have the ruger 22/45 in the Slab Barrel, I really like it. I did buy the Smith and it's become my target/squirrel pistol. Lots of fun. Both shoot most brands of ammo.
Hi. Im about to buy my first 22.pistol. I am thinking about the S&W 22A or the Ruger 22.. If you were about to buy a 22 today, wich one would you choose?
I just bought one of these brand new.. still have'nt shot it yet....I have not been able to get it to load and extract rounds manually like i do with all my other guns before i go to the range...it leaves rounds in the chamber every other round... can tell me if your gun loads and extracts unfired cartriges manually with no jams??...i tried everything with mine..it must be a peice of crap i need to return it
I have the short 3 inch barrel on mine and it is as accurate as some of the Rugers I have shot with the target barrels.I wish the trigger was a little lighter.Do you know of a trigger kit you can buy for them.
Yes he hit the target (barely) but theryre not really going 4 accuracy as u can tell but those r the funnest guns to shoot besides my ar 22 wich has a red dot sight, laser, forword hand grip thing, a 50 round drum clip, tripple picatany rail and an arch angel kit its the coolest tactical 22 ever
You should try to use a proper shooting posture, im not trying to offend you or anything but, you would should alot easier. Look up some postures on the internet.

That was a buddy of mine shooting...He doesn't do much shooting.

@HCDDWarhero Who cares how someone stands? it's not a fucking 44 magnum. As long as you hit the target, that's all that matters.

@beast6228 hah, so true. With a .22 you could stand on one leg and touch your nose and still get a great grouping.

@beast6228 Why learn bad habits? Most shooters eventtually get the itch to shoot larger calibers.
